🎃 Nessie Gets in the Halloween Spirit! 🎃

After months of hiding in the depths, the Loch Ness Monster has finally resurfaced, just in time for Halloween! Nessie was spotted wearing a Ghostface mask and waving a makeshift “knife” carved from a piece of driftwood, giving tourists in a passing boat the fright of their lives.

Local experts say it’s all in good fun, apparently Nessie’s just making a splash this spooky season. One witness said, “I thought she was comin’ for us, but turns out she just wanted tae show aff her costume!”

Join GSAB's Nature Recovery officer Antoine Lemaire for a guided walk in the woodlands on Balbeg estate. Together we will explore the woodlands looking for woodland creatures and the signs they leave behind. Feeding signs, s**t, footprints, sounds, feathers and hair. On the walk we will learn how to create a plaster cast of a hoof, foot or paw print (if we find some!).
After the walk we will observe and discuss our findings further and learn more about woodland ecology.
