Did you know?
Muscles at the front of our hips can become overly shortened due to our lifestyles - sitting at desks, crouching at work, and driving etc. This in turn, prevents the strong muscles in our rear to play the part they were designed for, causing others to take over when we walk and run.
Typically, our lower backs and hamstrings are left to do the donkey work and will lead to discomfort, back ache and injury.
Stretching and mobilising those hip flexor muscles will have a significant effect.
Remember the mantra – a little and often and don’t over stretch.
