Family Voice Norfolk often shares surveys and information produced by Contact.

Contact is the charity for families who have children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability and importantly for us too, supports parent carer forums across the country.

They produce a really informative weekly newsletter for families, giving you the opportunity to attend free online workshops, have your voice heard through surveys, hear about policies, campaigns and research, and discover a whole range of other help and advice available.

Take a look at their website and sign up for the newsletter with its wealth of information here ➡️ https://contact.org.uk/about-contact/news-and-views/sign-up-for-newsletters/

You can also follow their page 👉 https://www.facebook.com/contactfamilies?

Contact supports families, brings families together and helps families take action for others.

Norfolk County Council have shared their brochure for the upcoming Practice Week - Resilience makes Brilliance!

For those of you who have not heard of, or been part of the Practice Week in previous years, its a week of multiagency events where professionals, parents and carers come together for inspiring sessions, practical workshops, and thought-provoking discussions around a specific topic from the FLOURISH ambition (https://www.norfolk.gov.uk/article/39200/Flourish).

This year the theme is Resilience makes Brilliance! The week’s drop in events are designed to strengthen resilience and promote children’s ability to adapt, recover, and thrive.

Tuesday 25 November has been dedicated to White Ribbon Day (https://www.awarenessdays.com/awareness-days-calendar/white-ribbon-day/ ). All of the presentations on that day will support our understanding of the impact of violence towards women and girls and how to promote resilience in this important area of work.

The Wednesday afternoon conference does need to be booked in advanced. This year hear from Caleb Jackson from the Youth Endowment Fund, Antony Little, Principal of Hewett Academy and young people from the NR Thirty Programme.

The brochure has more information about the Practice Week and outlines all the activities planned, links to resources young people have created and some future learning opportunities. ➡️https://norfolklscp.org.uk/media/ysopmaa2/norfolk-practice-week-nov-2025.pdf
