FUNDING for Specialist Equipment, Assistive Technology and British Sign Language (BSL) Learning. National Deaf Children's Society is working in partnership with Family Fund to deliver a nationwide programme to support families raising deaf children aged 0 to 11, or who are still in primary school.
You may be eligible to apply if:
* You are the main carer applying on behalf of a child who is deaf. National Deaf Children’s Society uses the term deaf to include all types and levels of hearing loss, from mild to profound, including deafness in one ear and temporary hearing loss such as glue ear.
* You live in the United Kingdom.
* You are applying for a child aged 0 to 11, or a child who is still in primary education.

Just a gentle reminder, the next Neuro Multi Agency Drop In is taking place this Thursday 10am – 12noon at 25k Youth and Community Centre. The drop ins are for parents who have concerns that their child is autistic, has ADHD, FASD or sensory processing differences. It’s a chance to speak to professionals to see what support can be offered. There are usually representatives from the following services; SEND Team, CAMHS, SEND Family Voice, SENDIASS, Daisy Chain, Carers Support Services and I will be there to share information on Short Breaks.
