Here's a reminder of what we have coming up this month at Craft and Create. We've got a fab line up of adults workshops AND some exciting activities planned to keep the kiddos occupied during the upcoming half term hols too!

Some workshops have sold out but if you're interested in those and we don't already have another date scheduled then pop us a message and we'll see what we can do to arrange an alternative date.

Ceri’s second workshop this weekend was glass painting this morning at CafeatNetpark, and everyone did a wonderful job!

We had lots of comments about how relaxing and therapeutic the activity was, and we couldn’t agree more - plus the results were stunning!

Ceri has a busy weekend this weekend with a double whammy of sold out workshops.

First off she was at Brafferton Village Hall yesterday for a wired Tree of Life workshop where everyone chose entirely different colour schemes, resulting in a stunning array of bespoke trees 😍

Hello February! ♥️

We did it, we survived another January; and now we can look forward to lighter nights, pancakes and heading closer to Spring!

We had an amazing January here at C&CNE CIC to be fair, so we really can’t complain, but with February comes a whole host of exciting workshops, partnerships with new venues, and a renewal of friendships with others. We can’t wait!

Calling all kid's clubs, after school provision and holiday activity providers!

If you're looking for arts and craft sessions with a difference then we'd love to chat about providing some children's workshops for you. We're not talking PVA and lollipop sticks either - although you can do more than you think with those! 😉

We run a similar workshop for children as we do for our adult's sessions, we simply tailor it to be age-appropriate to our audience. As a result the kids can enjoy glass painting, powertex, soap making, pop art, eco-resin, needle felting, pottery painting and more just like the grown ups. And, thanks to funding, we're able to offer all of these at what we believe is a budget-friendly price.

With regards to school holidays in particular we currently have very limited availability for February half term and are fully booked for Easter, but if you're thinking ahead to May and the summer break then drop us a message to discuss ideas, we'd love to hear from you!🎨🫟

This evening we had great fun at a private booking for a lampshade making workshop on our home turf in Sedgefield!

As you can see there were some beautiful fabric choices and the finished products were excellent thanks to Helen’s expert guidance.

This afternoon we were delighted to be invited to Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Middlesbrough to run an art session with their year 6 pupils!

We chose to do a powertex session and the kids quickly got stuck in making their bespoke pen pots - getting very messy in the process 😉

The results were brilliant (as you can see below!) and the kids were awesome - we had a blast so thank you for having us Sacred Heart!

Our second workshop yesterday was Needle Felted Gonks, and oh my did we get some super cute results!!!

It’s well known that Ceri loves a gonk, but these little fellas were especially brilliant - everyone did a fab job 😍

Yet another jam-packed day today with back-to-back fully booked workshops over at Field & Fodder!

This morning Helen led a crackle glaze decoupage workshop to create bespoke coasters using the designs of your choice - and they looked amazing!!

Crackle glaze is a slightly different decoupage technique which can be used in a number of ways, including on furniture if fancy giving a larger project a go!

Today was our very first monthly kid’s craft club session and it was a blast!!

We were fully booked for this month and everyone got stuck in getting messy painting their tote bags, which all looked amazing by the time we finished ♥️

Yesterday Helen taught our first lampshade making workshop of the year and as you can see everyone did a thoroughly excellent job of creating their bespoke shades 👍🏻
