At a time of year which let’s be honest is hugely commercial and materialistic, it feels good to be able to remind children of the other ways they can spread Christmas joy! 🎅🏼🧑🏻‍🎄

Here’s an idea which I’ll be doing with my own kids and our students each festive season 🎄🙏🏼

C H A L L E N G E 💪🏼

It’s been a while since I’ve raced duathlon and gone ‘longer’ distances so today was hard work! 😅

But one thing I love is challenging and pushing my body and mind - something we try to encourage our students to do in our yoga classes 💪🏼🧘🏻‍♀️🧠

Moving my body is an act of mindfulness for me - all I can think about is how my body and mind are feeling in that moment and it’s one of the moments I speak positive words of encouragement to myself to get through the race or event! ❤️

However we choose to do it, trying to be brave, challenging ourselves physically and mentally - not all of the time, but some of the time. We learn so much about ourselves and that sometimes more is possible than we think ✨
