We proud to be supporting Emma the Celebrant Birthday Ball alongside H Biffens & Sons and Crescent Funeral Services.

Many families will recognise Emma Britton for the warmth, compassion, and genuine care she brings to every ceremony she leads. We are fortunate to know Emma not only as a respected colleague but also as a valued friend, and it means a great deal to us to be part of this special event on Saturday.

The evening is dedicated to raising funds for ALK Positive UK, a charity close to Emma’s heart with ongoing support to Emma and her family. They work to offer support, to advocate and to raise awareness of Lung Cancer in non-smokers.

Recently we had the honour of supporting the funeral of a long-serving Metropolitan Police officer at Sedgemoor Crematorium.

We were joined by police bearers who stood in formation, paying tribute to a lifetime of dedication and duty. Their presence offered a powerful symbol of respect and unity, reminding us all of the deep bond shared by those who serve in uniform. 💙

Florence Peppin ‘Iris’ of Williton, Wife to the late Ron Peppin, passed away peacefully on Tuesday 10th February 2026 aged 99 years at Croft House in Williton. A much-loved, Mother to Irene, Mother-In-Law to Mike, Aunt to Rachael and David, Dear Friend to Ann, and a treasured member of their respective families. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. The family wish to thank all the staff at Croft House Nursing Home, Williton, for their care and support to Florence and her family.

In Florence’s memory, a funeral service will take place on Monday 23rd March 2026 at 1.20pm at Taunton Deane Crematorium. Donations in Florence’s memory will be sent to Ferne Animal Sanctuary in Chard and can be given at the service into the donation box or via the Funeral Directors. The family has requested for family flowers only.

Veronica Burge of Sidmouth, peacefully passed away on Wednesday 4th February 2026 at home surrounded by her family, aged 72. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Marion ‘Mona’ Clitsome of Highbridge, peacefully passed away on Sunday 8th February 2026 at Weston Super Mare Hospital, aged 96. A much loved Mum, Nan, Great Nan & Auntie. She will be deeply missed by the rest of her family, friends and all that knew her.

Stephen Sharp of Watchet, passed away suddenly on Tuesday 20th January 2026 aged 57 years. He will be deeply missed by all his loving family, friends and everyone that knew him. Stephen had been actively involved in Scouting for nearly 50 years, having joined the movement as a Cub Scout at the age of 8 years, and more recently supporting the County Programme Team and serving as a Trustee for Somerset Scouts. He was a much liked and respected member of the sailing community and was proudly involved with Coastal Diamonds, Sutton Bingham Sailing Club, and Wimbleball Sailing Club, where he shared many happy times and friendships on the water.

In Stephen’s memory, a funeral service will take place on Wednesday 4th March 2026 at 1pm at Watchet Methodist Church followed by private burial service. Donations in Stephen’s memory will be sent to RNLI and can be given at the service into the donation box or via the Funeral Directors. The family has requested for Family Flowers Only and for you to attend the service with a splash of colour.

Gary Perkins of Watchet, peacefully passed away on Friday 6th February 2026 at Eastleigh Care Home in Minehead aged 85. In the day’s leading to his passing he was surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

On Saturday Mark had the honour of conducting a service at West Wiltshire Crematorium for the late Peter Leech. A truly special man, reflected by the sheer number of people who came together to pay their respects.

It was heart-warming to see everyone honour Peter’s love of yellow, with yellow ties, scarves, and beautiful yellow flowers filling the chapel with warmth and meaning. 💛

A heartfelt thank you to Celebrant Kat Hector for delivering such a beautiful and moving service, capturing Peter’s life and spirit so perfectly.

We are always honoured to support families, and we will go as far as a family needs us to ensure every farewell is personal, meaningful, and filled with care.
