Stepping into the new year with a little snow on my boots, I look across the white landscape and breathe in the crisp forest air.
Slowly, the days are becoming a little longer and I feel like a bug gently stretching out of its cocoon.
As I return to my mat after the winter festivities, time slows down and I am once again reminded that when I meet myself, my body and breath, I gift myself a safe space for introspection, reflection and stillness that my often busy mind needs.
This year, I am doing things differently. This year I am emerging slowly.

Our first Restorative Yoga and Thai bodywork session of the year is this weekend, Sunday 19th.
In these sessions we blend two practices together into a moving meditation, subtly increasing body awareness through ease and tranquility.
Through gentle shapes we allow the breath to move into parts of ourselves where we feel restriction and tension - inviting stagnant energy to unravel, transform and alchemise into something new.
Join us in our small group 2hr 30min sessions, where we guide you through a series of restorative poses and use gentle compressions and stretches to help you sink deeper. We explore and learn how breath moves, heals and guides us into quietness. Finishing the session with a herbal tea to fit for the season.
