In the last couple of months, I have immersed myself in over 120 hours of breathwork facilitating, practicing, and also receiving… allowing myself the luxury of being the client. What a treat working with some breath work facilitators that are absolutely on my wave length.

And honestly… it’s been nothing short of epic.

It’s stretched me in ways I didn’t expect. Emotionally. Mentally. Energetically.

At times, exhausting…
And at the same time, deeply exhilarating in both growth and healing.

That’s the beauty of the breath… You never stop learning. You never arrive. You just keep unfolding.

Since opening The Zenden, I have found myself weaving more and more breathwork into everything I offer. Every single therapy, modality and treatment are enhanced when intentional breath work is added

Because when you slow down… When you make space… When you truly connect to your breath…

Something shifts.
Energy moves. The body softens. The mind quietens.

And what was once just a treatment becomes a full-body, soul-level experience.

When I created The Zenden, I had a vision…
A space for real recovery.
A space where both light and dark are welcome.
Where you can be seen even in your shadows.
And held even when you can barely whisper your own name.

I wanted warmth.
Grounding. A deep sense of calm.

Every detail matters
The lighting… The music…
The frequencies…

Nothing is by chance. Everything is there to support you.

Yesterday, as I finished my last practice and reached those 120 hours, I felt something shift in me too…

Clarity. Focus. Alignment.
A reminder that when you truly dedicate yourself something always gives back.

And someone said to me today… “You don’t shout enough about what you offer.”

So here I am. This is me shouting. Soulstar.
Sacred Rhythms. The Zenden. Self-recovery.

Because when you choose yourself even for just one hour, something changes.

A breath. A muscle. A feeling. A knowing. And if you’ve been thinking about it… If something in you is quietly saying “I need this”…

Let this be your sign.
April is almost full, so please plan ahead.
Your self-recovery starts the moment you choose it.

In a world that demands so much more from us, make sure you demand so much more from your treatments and therapies.

Breathwork is your extra

Trigger Warning Self Love Isn’t Soft. It’s Honest. It’s Confronting.

Self love isn’t just candles, baths, and calming playlists. That’s the surface. That’s the entry point.

Real self love?
It asks you to meet yourself… fully.

To sit with the parts of you that feel too much, and the parts that whisper you’re not enough. To notice the stories you’ve been living inside
without even realising they’ve been running the show.

The fear of being left.
The need to be chosen.
The instinct to pull away just as things get close.

These aren’t flaws.
They’re protections. Old ones. Built in moments where you needed them to survive.

But what once kept you safe can quietly keep you stuck.

This is where the work deepens.

Self love becomes the moment you stop running from yourself
and start getting curious instead.

Why do I react like this?
What am I protecting?
Is this still serving me… or just familiar?

Because the truth is
we don’t sabotage ourselves for no reason.
We repeat what feels known, even when it hurts.

And healing isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about understanding yourself.

Gently. Honestly. Without judgement.

It’s choosing to stay present when every part of you wants to escape.

It’s learning to feel safe in your own body again.

You don’t need to become whole. You already are.

The work…
is remembering.

There’s a lot of talk right now about the nervous system… and honestly, for me there should be.

Because when you understand your nervous system, you start to understand yourself a little more and that, well that changes everything about how you live.

Have you ever had a reaction that felt completely out of proportion? Have you Snapped at someone…
Felt a surge of anger…
Or suddenly overwhelmed and thought, “Where did that even come from?”

That wasn’t you “losing it.”
That was your nervous system responding.

Sometimes, the body goes into fight or flight… but doesn’t actually get to fight or flee.

So what happens?
We freeze.

The emotion doesn’t get expressed. It doesn’t get processed. So it gets stored.

Held in the body as unprocessed energy
fear, anger, uncertainty, not feeling safe.

And because the body didn’t complete the cycle
(it didn’t come back down into safety, calm, or connection), it stays on alert.

So the next time something feels similar
even if it isn’t the same
your body reacts as if it is.

Trying to protect you from feeling that again.

This is why… You don’t speak up to your boss.
You don’t challenge your partner. You don’t call out a friend.

Not because you’re weak.
Not because you don’t know how. But because somewhere along the line,
your body decided… that’s not safe.

So instead, you shut the door on your emotions.
And all that energy? It doesn’t disappear. It builds. Quietly. Internally.

What we don’t express… we suppress. And what we suppress… the body holds.

This is the work.
Not fixing yourself, but gently teaching your body that it’s safe again.

Safe to feel. Safe to express. Safe to be you.

This is nervous system health. This is self recovery. This is coming home.

Are your jaws always clenched… would you even know, or has that just become normal?

Do your shoulders feel heavy, like they’re carrying the weight of the world…
or is that just what you believe life is meant to feel like?

Can you remember the last time your body felt
soft… relaxed… loose in its being?

Is your mind always running, playing out the next thing, the next thought, the next worry…
and calling that “just how it is”?

Can you remember what it felt like to be fully here…
not thinking ahead…
not bracing… just in the moment… in ease… in joy… in breath?

Somewhere along the way, we stopped noticing.
We adapted. We tightened. We carried on.

And then… we forgot.

Soulstar at The Zenden offers something different

The Remembering
A gentle 60-minute glimpse back into your breath… your body…
your natural state.

A space to soften.
To release. To reconnect.
Not to become something new but to remember who you were before the tension, before the holding, before life became something to push through. You don’t need to fix yourself.
You just need to remember.

After a beautiful breathwork session this morning where I was the client and not the facilitator I was reminded, Breathwork isn’t about intensity nor should it be, It’s about capacity.

Some people think breathwork has to be big…Emotional…
Overwhelming, Like something or even someone needs to break open for it to be “working.”

But that’s so not the truth. It’s a false narrative created by practitioners working only in one style of Breathwork.

Real breathwork is not about how deep you can go…It’s about how much you can safely hold, feel, and stay with. It’s about what an individual needs not what a practitioner wants.

Because your nervous system doesn’t heal through force.
It heals through safety.

Capacity is: Staying with your breath when you’d usually check out. Feeling sensation without needing to escape it. Allowing emotion without being consumed by it. Expanding gently… instead of pushing aggressively.

This is where real the real change happens. This is where I sat this morning. It was gentle, safe, soft and nurturing. Not words always associated with today’s popular style of Breathwork. Not intensity, But regulation was what I took from my session.
Not in overwhelm, But in integration did I find what I needed.

Every time you breathe with awareness, you are teaching your body:

“I can be here… and I am safe.”

And from that place…Your system opens. Your body softens. Your energy moves.

So if you’ve ever felt like you’re “not doing it right” because it wasn’t intense enough…

Good. You’re probably doing it exactly as your body needs.

Capacity over intensity.
Always. If your interested in exploring your window of capacity through Breathwork I offer many treatments combined with the breath. Send me a message and let’s get together.

The “what if” dilemma…

“but what if” is one of the most common things I hear in self-recovery sessions.

What if I never find who I truly am?
What if I don’t like the version of me I become?
What if I can’t feel joy again?
What if this numbness never leaves?
What if I’m just… not good enough?
What if I can’t do this?

And the list goes on.

If I had a pound for every self-limiting belief I’ve heard or quietly felt sitting underneath someone’s what if words, I would be money rich.

But here’s the truth…

“What if” works both ways.

The mind, especially when the nervous system feels unsafe or overwhelmed, will naturally scan for threat. It’s doing its job trying to protect you.
But in doing so, it keeps you looping in fear, doubt, and limitation.

So what happens when we gently shift it?

What if…
I do find myself?
I love who I become?
Joy returns in ways I can’t yet imagine?
This numbness is just a phase, not a life sentence?
I am already enough, even here?
I am more capable than I’ve ever believed?

This isn’t toxic positivity.
This is retraining the lens you see your life through.

Self-recovery is not about having all the answers.
It’s about creating enough safety within your body to sit in the unknown… without fear running the show.

Because the truth is
You don’t need to know everything right now.

You just need to be willing to stay open to the possibility…
that things could go right.

And sometimes, that one shift is where everything begins.

And this is what I have this on the wall The Zenden, a quiet
reminder of the “what if”

Temple of the Fifth, The Ether Experience

Temple of the Fifth is not just a treatment… it’s an entry point into the space beyond the physical.

This is where we move into ether, the element of stillness, subtlety, and the unseen. The place where the nervous system no longer needs to brace, hold, or protect…
and instead begins to soften, open, and receive.

Inspired by the principles of ASMR and intentional touch, this ritual works directly with the sensory pathways of the body. Gentle, feather-light contact, slow rhythm, and focused presence signal safety to the system allowing it to shift out of fight-or-flight and into deep restoration.

Research shows that these kinds of soft, repetitive, attentive sensations can slow the heart rate, calm the mind, and activate the parasympathetic “rest and digest” state

But this goes beyond relaxation… This is regulation through sensation.

The face, scalp, and neck hold powerful gateways into the nervous system. Through delicate tracing, whisper-light strokes, and immersive stillness, the body begins to reorganise itself. Breath deepens without effort. Thoughts quiet without force.

What emerges is something many people rarely experience:True stillness, Sensory calm without overwhelm. A soft, internal spaciousness, A return to inner harmony.

This is why people often describe it as a kind of “total joy” not the loud, high-energy kind… but a quiet, expansive contentment that washes through the whole system.

A remembering. A returning. A coming home to self.

Temple of the Fifth is for those who are tired of pushing, fixing, and forcing…and are ready instead to receive, soften, and simply be.

What is The Zenden?

The Zenden is more than a treatment space…
It’s the coming together of over 30 years of experience in health, beauty, and wellness.

But truthfully… it’s more even than that. It’s the evolution of my work.
A deeper understanding that true wellbeing isn’t just about what we do on the outside… It’s about how we feel, regulate, and connect on the inside.

For years, my work has been rooted in a holistic approach to life but over the last 15 years, something shifted.

I began working much deeper, beyond the surface. Learning, exploring, and integrating modalities that support the mind, body, and spirit as one.

Because you can’t separate them, And when one is out… you feel it everywhere.

This is where self-recovery begins. Not fixing. Not forcing.
Not becoming someone new.

But returning to who you were before the world told you who to be. Self-recovery is about gently peeling back the layers…
Releasing stored emotion, stress, and overwhelm…
Regulating the nervous system… And reconnecting to your body in a way that feels safe again.

Because so many of us are walking around disconnected.Stuck in our heads. Out of our bodies.
Exhausted, but unable to fully rest.

The Zenden was created just for that. A space to slow down. A space to breathe. A space where your system can finally exhale.

This isn’t clinical. It isn’t rushed. And it isn’t surface-level wellness.

Every treatment, every session, every moment in The Zenden is intentional.

To help you soften. To help you regulate. To help you come back into alignment.

Why visit The Zenden?
Because you’re ready for more than “just getting through the day.”
Because your body is asking for something deeper. Because you can feel that something within you is ready to shift.

Whether you come for rest, release, grounding, or reconnection…

You won’t just leave feeling better. You’ll leave feeling more like you.

This is your space. This is your reset. This is your return.

Welcome to The Zenden.

Part of the Soulstar Signature Series…
this is where everything comes back into alignment.

Because sometimes it’s not just the heart…
and it’s not just the mind…

It’s the whole system that feels off. Spinning.
Unsteady. Like you’ve lost your centre and can’t quite find your way back.

Axis of Sound is about restoring that centre.
Your axis is your inner structure the line that runs through you, holding you steady, grounded, supported.

When life pulls you in too many directions, that axis becomes distorted. You feel scattered.
Disconnected. Out of sync with yourself.

This work is about recalibrating that.

Through breath, through body, through frequency…

we begin to slow the spin.
The breath draws you inward back to awareness, back to presence.

The body softens under touch unwinding what’s been held, releasing what no longer needs to stay.

And then comes the sound. Not just something you hear… but something you feel.

Waves of frequency moving through you,
like a reset from the inside out, clearing noise, restoring rhythm,
bringing everything back into coherence.

This is where rotation becomes stability. Where chaos becomes structure.
Where the system remembers how to organise itself again.

You don’t have to force balance… your body already knows how to return to it.

This is the re-grounding.
The rebalancing. The restoration of your inner axis.

A full-system reset.
A return to your centre

Part of the Soulstar Signature Series… this one is different.

This is not about finding direction. This is about returning to the heart.

Because so many of us have drifted too far out
pulled into overthinking, overgiving, overprotecting…
disconnected from the very place that softens us.

Orbit of the Heart is exactly that. An orbit.

A gentle return to your centre. Just like the planets are held in place by gravity, your heart has its own pull a natural rhythm that brings you back to love, back to balance, back to yourself.

But when we’ve been hurt, overwhelmed, or shut down, we move out of that orbit.

We become distant from our own warmth. From connection. From feeling.

This work is about coming back in. Softly. Gently.
Without force.

Through breath, ceremony, and body, we begin to melt the layers that keep you guarded.

The cacao opens. The breath releases. The body remembers.

And slowly… you come back into orbit.

Back into the gravity of your own heart. Where love isn’t something you seek it’s something you are.

This is the softener. The healer. The return to emotional flow.

A space where it’s safe to feel again, safe to receive,
safe to be held in your own energy.

This isn’t big, loud transformation.

This is subtle. Sacred.
Needed. A quiet coming home to yourself.
