Our Service offers free, Impartial and confidential information, advice and support to children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities who live in Northumberland and their parents or carers. The team are currently operating remotely through the Covid-19 pandemic, but are still offering help and support via email, over the telephone, on our website and in online meetings where possible. This small-group, trauma-informed session is designed to help you understand whatโ€™s happening in your nervous system when you feel stuck, exhausted or depleted and to give you the chance to practise some small, simple strategies to help you feel more grounded.

๐Ÿ“ฃ Street 2 Stadium Para Athletics Taster Day โ€“ Coming Soon! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ

In partnership with England Athletics the next Street 2 Stadium Para Athletics Taster Day takes place next Thursday 28th August at Monkton Stadium, Jarrow 11am-2pm.

This free event is open to anyone aged 8yrs and over with a disability to try athletics events including sprints, frame running wheelchair racing, shot put, javelin, and seated throws with the support of experienced athletics coaches.

๐Ÿ’› Come along to our Summer Family Day at Newbiggin Family Hub, TOMORROW (Saturday 02nd August, 10am - 12pm) & why not join in on hook a duck and bean bag toss!

๐Ÿ‘ฎThe Fire Service, Police, Library and RNLI will be attending our Summer Family Day's! We have lots of fun activities going on, glue and stick, decorating biscuits, glitter tattoo's, playdough and messy play! There will also be games for older children.

Tobyโ€™s Magical Garden is back for Summer 2025 and spaces are booking up quickly! ๐Ÿชด๐Ÿ’š

You can now take advantage of our relaxing and enclosed space as our garden is available to hire at ยฃ10 for two hours for a maximum of 8 people. We are based at Earth Balance, Bedlington. This donation helps to maintain our garden but also helps to ensure that we can keep providing our unique charitable services to families across the North East.

The service is free and confidential. We also support children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities up to the age of 25. This can include:
