Yesterday we took some of the residents to the Christmas Tree Festival at Christ Church!! They were all amazed at the fabulous trees and thoroughly enjoyed it !! Many Thanks to Marie and Izzy for their help in making this little trip a huge success!!

Rose cottage residents have been very busy making Christmas cards for the playgroup children and Beryle wrote in all of them for us ,also they have made lots of Christmas tree decorations for the Christmas Tree Festival at Christ Church , they are amazing! We have had a lovely visit from Sally the animal interaction lady who bought some lovely animals in for the residents to see and hold, the children from playgroup came and joined us and everyone had a great time , the children all took their homemade cards and selection boxes home with them. Mary and Kathleen had lovely hair do’s , Corrina was busy sewing , Stacey had cuddles with Aston , and Emma was joking with the ladies about her eyes!!! Phew lots of things been happening!!!!!
We have a fabulous Christmas Party coming up on December 13th with Santa , a raffle , lots of lovely food , drinks and music etc, everyone welcome to come and join the fun!!!!!

Rose Cottage residents have enjoyed the last couple of weeks, Judith and Mary enjoyed a trip to Bark & Brew cafe for coffee and cakes, Some of the residents made poppies to go in the windows and knitted them too!We had a visit from Colin and Linda from Christ Church for a get together and singing, and we had entertainment from BUD the singer, the residents enjoyed singing along with him and waving flags and having a chat too! A great couple of weeks enjoyed by all!!
Our Christmas Party is on Saturday December 13 th all family and friends very welcome to come and join us!!

Over the last couple of weeks, Margaret F celebrated her birthday, some of the residents were busy making mini scarecrows, Margaret was feeling better after getting her hair done, Sheila and Judy enjoyed a trip to Bark & Brew for coffee and cakes, and Betty was enjoying cream cakes with her family!

Today, Rose Cottage held their MacMillan Coffee Morning! Fab Success!! Thankyou to everyone who donated lovely prizes for the raffle and money for the fundraiser! Thankyou to everyone that attended to support us!! Thankyou to the ladies that made such wonderful cakes for the event!! Thankyou to all the staff on shift for their help in making this such a lovely morning!! And Very Special Thanks to Jean to making and selling bracelets which raised £20!! Our total raised for MacMillan was £144.90!!!!!!!!!!!
