It's Party By The Park today 12pm - 3pm... At The Folk Hall. Don't be put off by the weather, as the wet weather plan is in place so you will be nice and dry. Lots of fun things to do with plenty of food and drink options. Come and say hello to the team of volunteers raising money for our Amenity Fund. Thanks to Baz, Vicky , Alex & Angel for giving up their Saturday!

On Thursday morning we held a fundraising Coffee Morning for Dementia UK! Our residents had a fantastic time and raised nearly £70 fir such a special cause which is close to all our hearts

We have had an eggcelent week at New Lodge with our residents including an Easter Egg hunt with our local primary school,raffles, Easter craft and our very own Hot Cross Scones

This week is Great British Pie week so our residents enjoyed a beautiful lunch of Steak Pie and Mushy Peas!

On Monday we welcomed the amazing Nikki to perform in our lovely TV lounge.
Nikki entertained us with music from all decades including Elvis, Frank Sinatra , war time and rock and roll songs ...
The residents loved the whole show and were totally engaged throughout with props being used to accompany the songs.
Baz our Activities Coordinator and staff joined in with residents to jive, twist and boogie.
A great way to bring back memories and remember the past.
We look forward to live entertainment continuing to be a regular part of New Lodge Care Home life.

We have been enjoying our intergenerational visits again at New Lodge Care Home after the half term holiday break. We were privileged to see our lovely 100 year young resident reading with one of the primary school children from New Earswick Primary School .
This was a magical moment to witness and all staff and residents absolutely loved it and we all look forward to making more memories together in the future . This relationship continues to grow and gives our residents a lovely weekly focus.
