My daughter told me that she got into an argument with the boys at school.

“What was the argument over?” I asked.

“They were being so silly”, she responded. “They were fighting over who’s daddy is the strongest”.

“What’s wrong with that darling?” I asked.

She laughed and rolled her eyes….
“I told them that MY MUMMY is WAY stronger than any of their daddy's”
......

I need to tell you now that this is the girl that made me want to break the negative relationship that I had with my body.

She’s the one who made me want to pick up weights for the first time.

She’s the one who made me want to start enjoying food rather than a constant battle between punishment and binge.

She’s the one who made me want to stop talking s**t about my body.

She made me want to change the narrative around how we view ourselves.

I wanted to change the world:
And move mountains in any way, shape or form possible so that she can have a beautiful relationship with her body and enjoy it for what it is and what it can do.

And I really hope that I’m starting to achieve it.
