We’re delivering A Rugby First Aid course at Tynedale RFC on Saturday 28th March, 9am to 6pm.

RFU approved Tutor Andrew Wilkinson and Regulation 9 compliant course with Level 3 EFAW qualification through Qualsafe and supplementary RFU approved rugby specific modules.

Drop us a DM and we will put you in touch with Keeley at Tynedale who is organising it as a closed course.

Another great day at Morpeth Rugby Football Club.

Another 12 volunteers successfully achieving the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) qualification. In addition they completed RFU approved modules in Suspected Fractures, Suspected Spinal Injuries, Concussion and Head Injuries and Return to Play and Injury Prevention.

CC Rugby First Aid Training have had a busy start to the year delivering courses for Morpeth Rugby Football Club, Yarnbury RFC, aireborough_rugby, Ponteland Rugby Club, hpoolrovers and rockcliffrfc.

That’s a lot of rugby volunteers now safe and confident in administering emergency first aid! Good work for January!

🏉 First Aid in Age-Grade Rugby – What Your Club Needs to Know

When it comes to age=grade rugby, the RFU’s RugbySafe First Aid & Immediate Care Standards set clear expectations for every age group:

👦 U7 & U8

Minimum: 1 First Aider per 40 players across both age groups.
Best practice: 1 First Aider per age group.

👧 U9 – U12

Minimum: 1 First Aider per 40 players (training) and 1 per age group (matches).
Best practice: 1 First Aider per match.

🧑 U13 – U18

Minimum: 1 First Aider per 40 players (training) and 1 per match.
Best practice: 1 First Aider per team.
