💛A little friendly reminder for my lovely students 💛

I always do my best to be flexible with training dates, especially as many of you know I’m still a hands‑on therapist too. When I book a training day, that whole day is reserved for training, which means blocking out client appointments.

Once we agree a date, a deposit is needed to secure it, and the remaining balance is due before your training day (usually about a month ahead). Deposits are non‑refundable because the day has been set aside for the course, but with notice they can be transferred to another date. Just keep in touch so we can arrange it smoothly.

As fellow therapists, I know you understand how important clear booking terms are so we can all plan our time and continue giving our clients the care they deserve.

🌿 “Being here is like coming home.” 🌿

Yesterday a student returned to finish her body massage training after a long break. She arrived feeling nervous, overwhelmed, and worried she wouldn’t remember anything.

We sat, talked, made a plan around her needs — and slowly the calm returned.

By the end of the day she felt confident again, and she said something that truly touched me:

“I don’t know why I was worried… being here is like coming home. There’s such a feeling of calm and safety here.”

It reminded me how much having a safe, nurturing place to learn really matters. When people feel held, they can grow. When they feel safe, they can flourish.

Grateful for this space, and for the beautiful souls who fill it. 💚

✨ My heart is so full after yesterday’s first Oncology Massage training day. ✨

What an incredible experience. A group of talented, compassionate holistic and massage therapists came together to learn something new — something so needed, so meaningful, and so beautiful. At our core, we’re all healers with big hearts and endless empathy, and that really showed.

We had laughter (including my very professional attempt to set a camera timer using the end of a broom), bonding, and even a few tears as we talked about the rollercoaster of emotions people face when they experience cancer.

We explored real-life case studies written by clients who generously shared their stories. And our wonderful models — all clients of mine with a history of cancer — spent time talking with the students before receiving a gentle, thoughtful treatment. Their openness and trust meant everything.

Because all the theory was completed beforehand, we could focus on what truly matters: consultation, positioning, adapting our skills, and really understanding how our clients feel. We shared our “why”, our experiences, and yes… I even flashed my scars and talked through the surgeries and treatments therapists may come across.

It was awe‑inspiring. Magical. Moving. A day I’ll never forget.

✨ Today is a big day… and I’m feeling all the emotions! ✨

After more than a year of writing, refining, tweaking, accrediting (and occasionally staring at my laptop wondering why I do this to myself), I finally get to teach my Oncology Massage Course for the very first time.

I’ve taught many therapies over the years and I’m passionate about every single one… but this one is different. This one is personal. This one is my heart. This one is the reason I believe—more strongly than ever—that massage should be accessible to everyone, including those living with and beyond cancer.

This course has been my baby: nurtured, obsessed over, polished, and protected. And today, I get to watch it take its first steps into the world.

I cannot wait to welcome my six wonderful students, each as devoted to offering safe, meaningful, compassionate touch as I am. And I’m equally honoured to be joined by our six incredible models—my own clients—who have generously agreed to be the students’ first case studies. Every one of them has experienced cancer, and their trust means more to me than I can put into words.

Reflexology February 2026… that’s a wrap!
Three wonderful days with the loveliest students, who took to reflexology like ducks to water. The room was full of laughter, learning, and even a bit of colouring in each other’s feet — as you do when you’re fully immersed in the magic of this therapy.

Reflexology is such a beautiful, powerful treatment, and it was a joy to watch everyone grow in confidence and skill.
