I currently offer both in-person and distance Reiki. Reiki is a Japanese natural healing system founded by Mikao Usui. The word Reiki, has two parts:
Rei which can be be translated as Spirit, Devine, Source
and
Ki which stands for Universal Energy, Life Force Energy or simply Energy.
Together the word Reiki is normally translated as Spiritual Energy. It is a Japanese technique which promotes relaxation, stress reduction and healing and is passed on by placing hands on (or above) the body. Reiki treats everything - mind, body and spirit. Whether you are looking for emotional healing or physical, Reiki can be very helpful- reminding us of the healing capabilities that we all share. It is 100% safe and natural and can be a lovely complementary therapy.
It is a natural and safe method of spiritual healing which is available to everyone. Reiki is spiritual but it is not a religion - there is no belief system and whatever your background or beliefs, Reiki is a tool that works with them. You need not even believe in Reiki for it to work.
