Today we’re celebrating women and the incredible power of good nutrition to support your health, energy and wellbeing. Your body’s needs change throughout life — and understanding those changes can make a real difference.

👶 Preconception & Pregnancy: nourishing yourself is an important part of preparing for and supporting a healthy pregnancy.
🤱 Post‑pregnancy & new Mums: food choices can help boost energy, support recovery and keep you feeling your best during those early months.
💕Breastfeeding: staying well‑nourished helps maintain your own health at the same time as producing milk.
💫 Perimenopause & menopause: simple nutrition changes can support bone health, heart health and help manage symptoms.

To support you through these stages, the Public Health Dietitians Group have created a series of short, practical videos with clear, trustworthy advice:

The potentially life-saving Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination aimed at protecting newborns and older adults is available all year round.

The RSV vaccination offered to pregnant women reduces the risk of severe bronchiolitis in the first months of your baby’s life. It’s therefore important to take up the offer of the RSV vaccine even if you’re having a spring or summer baby.
