Drumming with my soul sistar on Dartmoor.
What a powerful experience.

The drum is such a beautiful and powerful tool for healing, ceremony, and energy work. So grateful for my relationship with this spirit ally, and all the places we have been together. 🌀

Spirit of the Horse 🐎

I headed up on the Moor yesterday to drum, and came across these beautiful horses. This chestnut Dartmoor pony was incredibly inquisitive, coming right up to me and my friend as we drummed for them.
She was intrigued by the vibrations of the drum and would tentatively touch her nose to the vibrating skin, no doubt experiencing resonance beyond these human ears.
A deeply magical experience ✨️

Yesterday I walked across a threshold, in an emotional ceremony marking the completion of 2.5 years of dedicated study in shamanic healing.

It is very difficult to sum up my experience, but in essence it has been a profound journey of self discovery, and a deep resounding sense of Coming Home.

To be a shamanic practitioner is to embark on a lifelong journey of understanding the self, and our relationship with the worlds, seen and unseen, around us.
While my past 25 years of spiritual study and practice are emcompassed within this stepping over the threshhold, there is some indescribable joy at the completion of this particular part of the journey, as though a huge piece of the puzzle of what makes up 'me', has been unearthed, retrieved, and put into place; a coming home to the true self.

I look now, to the journey ever onward, with wonderment, surrender, and purpose.
