We’ve recently reduced our subscription prices, making RiseCare more accessible than ever. Our membership options offer exceptional value, peace of mind, and predictable costs for you or your loved ones.

👉 While we always recommend a subscription for the best value, you do not need to be a member to call us. We can still attend non-subscribed fall call-outs, however these are charged at a higher pay-per-use rate.

Because one fall shouldn’t change your independence.

Western Medical Services on the 15/01/2026 supported a Multi Agency Response in Exmouth, specifically the transport of vulnerable individuals with evacuation from within the Safety Cordon. Following its expansion from 400m to 600m we were tasked with deploying multiple Patient Transport Vehicles, alongside one of our Operational Managers to support in Multi Agency Planning.

Thanks to the dedicated work of Exmouth Coastguard Rescue Team, Dartmoor Search and Rescue Team - Ashburton, Devon & Cornwall 4x4 Response (Members Only) & Devon County Council we were able to establish all vulnerable individuals within the cordon, transporting them safely to alternative residencies or care facilities.

We would like to thank all agencies involved for their efforts and our amazing staff for the unlimited availability to support people in their time of need.

2026 has already been crazy for us here at WMS! How wrong we were when we thought January might be… 🤫

If your in Plymouth City Centre to celebrate the New Year don’t forget to utilise the Plymouth SafeBus for Medical care, Phone charging, Welfare needs or just a safe place to wait for friends or a taxi!

If your in trouble within a bar or club speak with the security or bar team who can radio our teams for support!

A fantastic evening celebrating Christmas with the Western Medical Services team this weekend 🎄🚑

Over the past year, our team has completed more than 55,000 hours of work, travelled 300,000+ miles, and cared for 2,500+ patients across our services. An incredible effort by an incredible group of people.

It was a brilliant opportunity to pause, reflect on what we’ve achieved together, celebrate the wins, and enjoy some well-earned downtime.

From all of us at Western Medical Services, we’d like to wish our staff, clients, partners, and everyone we work alongside across the healthcare and events industry a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Western Medical Services is expanding our Patient Transport Team, and we’re looking for reliable, compassionate people to join us.

What we offer:
• Flexible start times with 8–12 hour shifts
• Multiple operating locations across Devon, Somerset and BNSSG
• Ambulance Care Assistant Training
• Regular or ad-hoc shifts depending on site needs
• Immediate starts for the right candidates

What you need:
• First Aid at Work (minimum requirement)
• PTS experience is beneficial but not essential
• A positive, patient-focused attitude
