POSITIVE NEWS FROM INDONESIA

In the next few weeks, Indonesia expects a new law to be enacted to ban dog meat in Jakarta officially. The rise in rabies cases has led to a decision by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung. According to him, more than 9 thousand dogs are slaughtered for meat in the city every month, which creates not only moral, but also sanitary risks. "In Jakarta, dog meat is not intended for human consumption," .Campaigning groups have been actively pressuring the Governor and other authorities. This news is positive and shows that if we keep raising our voice, we can all make a difference.

We are saddened to hear the news of Kieran's passing. He was a loyal customer of ours for 7 years and was always a pleasure to work with. His photography was loved by many and will be forever shared between mutual followers. We wish his family all the strength and support for the future.

This week's comes from Kieran Metcalfe!

Kieran is a landscape photographer based in South Manchester and mainly takes his photos in the Peak District National Park.

Here is a little bit more about Kieran:

"I have a rare, incurable liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), so each year I produce a calendar with all the profits going to PSC Support (https://pscsupport.org.uk / https://www.facebook.com/PSCSupport) to help in their work with patients and driving forward vital research"
