📣 We’re at the Volunteer Fair TODAY! 📣

A few volunteers from the Charity will be at the Volunteer Fair at the Dolphin Centre today, and we’d love to see you there!
We are urgently looking for volunteers to help support people affected by cancer – whether that’s offering a listening ear, helping at groups, supporting events, becoming a Volunteer Driver or being part of our friendly team behind the scenes.
No experience needed – just a bit of time, kindness, and a willingness to help make a difference 💙
If you’ve ever thought about volunteering, today is the perfect chance to come and have a chat with us, find out what we do, and see how you could get involved. If you can't make it and would like more information please call 07442991859.

✨ This March, the team at Hays Travel Bishop Auckland are stepping up for charity with an indoor sponsored walk. ✨

🚶‍♀Our challenge? 🚶‍♀️
To collectively walk 900 miles over the month of March... that’s the distance of the Canadian Rockies! 🏔️

💜 We’ll be clocking up the miles on our walking pads in-store, and we’d love your support to help us reach our goal and raise as much money as possible for this amazing local charity, Aycliffe Cancer Support Group 💜

✨ Aycliffe Cancer Support Group is a charity supported by dedicated volunteers who help people living with cancer. They do this in many different ways from providing transport to hospital appointments to monthly gatherings where everyone can connect, talk and support one another. ☕ 🗣️

🎉 12 years of our charity 🎉

On 6th February 2014, I started Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group after my own cancer diagnosis, with just 6 members, simply because there wasn’t enough support out there. What began as something very small has grown into a group that has helped hundreds of cancer patients and their families over the years, all of us are
100% Voluntary.
For 12 years I’ve given my time to make sure no one feels alone on their cancer journey — and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without the amazing volunteers who have stood beside me along the way and not forgetting my mam + dad who were beside me when I started, sadly now in heaven.
Thank you to every volunteer, supporter, patient and family who has been part of this journey. Your kindness, dedication and compassion mean more than words can say.
Here’s to 12 years of support, strength and community 💛

This is on today at The Dolphin Centre pop along and say Hi to Peter Miller and other Prostate cancer Patients. 1pm

The next prostate Group will be a week early this Month on Friday 23rd January at The Dolphin Centre 1pm till 2.30pm Great support for patients who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and also those who are Living with it part of the Great Aycliffe Cancer Support Group Helping Those affected by Cancer across county Durham & Darlington ######x
