Inspiring Success I am a Rapid Transformation Therapy Practitioner and a Wellbeing Coach The world is your oyster and anything is possible.

I have a degree in optometry and Vision Sciences, and have been a practicing optometrist for over 10 years, qualified in 2004. Having gone through personal life changing experiences I became more interested in complimentary therapies. I knew I wanted something different from life but was afraid of the change and the risks it would involve, after all I had a secure job and a mortgage to pay was it worth chasing a dream? I began seeing a life coach who made me see my own life in a whole new light, from exploring limiting beliefs and realising my goals I stopped procrastinating and took control of my life. I wanted the impact of coaching to reach others so I trained with the largest coaching academy in the UK to become a successful Personal Performance Coach, and took further training to become a NLP Practitioner. I love helping others realise their dreams, I especially love it when people come to me saying ‘I have no idea what I want from life but I want something’. I’m a firm believer that with the right support and motivation anyone can achieve their dreams.

There will be moments when you are looking around, whether it's on social media or in person conversations and you begin to doubt your own worth, accomplishments, journey and where you are going.

You begin to question if you are doing enough enough or whether you are even good enough? The people around you seem to be thriving, busy, always achieving or doing incredible things and it makes you question your own position.

It may feel despite giving your all it never seems to equate to those around you. Your days are packed and you haven't even got time or energy for more but the 'not feeling good enough' void seems to have space to grow.

If you EVER feel like this I really encourage you to take some time out and some time away from the external noise. Turn off the social media and create some healthy boundaries from those around you, utilise this time and energy to focus on your inner self.

Start with gratitude, start with reminding yourself of how far you've come, your journey, your strength and your resilience. No one has walked in your shoes and you've not walked in others so comparing to others is pointless.

Your best, your intentions, your authenticity, your work, your showing up daily is ENOUGH.

Who you are right now in this moment is ENOUGH

What you've accomplished so far is ENOUGH

Your journey which certainly hasn't ended is ENOUGH

Don't ever let anyone make you believe anything different...especially yourself

Don't ever quit or give up hope

You always have been and always will be GOOD ENOUGH

Last week I did a 3 hour wellbeing workshop for 40 people, we worked on:
Personal Wellbeing
Vulnerability and communication in a team
Creative connection work

I was incredibly proud of this group of individuals who took a lot of courage when sharing stories, being vulnerable with their feelings and emotions and working on their wellbeing.

It's not easy to do this especially in front of others...and yet being open, vulnerable and courageous can allow for deeper connections, more supportive relationships and seeing people in a different perspective beyond just their working role title.

We all have a story, we are all on a journey and to work on our mental and physical being it starts with taking a moment to reflect on where and who we are, exploring our past and how it's impacting our present, and what steps we want to take going forward.

Who we are can have an impact on relationships personal and professional, frustrations, irritations, annoyance, stress, etc can all begin with what we are feeling. It may be to do with people and circumstances but understanding ourselves and then having the courage to be open on how much is us and how much of it is to do with something or someone else is vital....then being able to have conversations and communicate is key in working well in a team.

I had such a fantastic morning with these amazing group of individuals who invited me to deliver a wellbeing session.

We did some vulnerability based gratitude work, breathwork practice, mindfulness interactive exercises and understanding the benefits and how to incorporate it in daily life.

It's such a deep privilege to hear people's journeys and stories, from my heart I feel their courage, resilience and strength in all that they have gone through, and how they are living with such care, kindness and love for each other. Such a wonderful team.

It's days like today that my purpose and passion expands, my heart fills with gratitude, and my mind becomes excited to do more of what I love.

Always be mindful of what you see and what that makes you feel because there's a whole lot of more squares (posts) that you don't see.

People may share parts of their life online, parts that look and feel good to them in that moment and for sure we can celebrate those moments with them....because everyone deserves to happy moments and areas to celebrate. Everyone deserves whatever brings them joy and excitement.

However always remember that there can be so much more behind the scenes that we won't always, the harder more vulnerable areas that are not as easy to share. The stressors, worries, overwhelm, overwork, burnout, trauma and so much more that person could be going through or has gone through.

Unless we truly deeply know a person let's remember to be mindful of what we think whenever we see a post or highlight.

On the flipside I'm all for celebrating the highs and embracing the lows of life, but think about why you share and if that's an area you need to work on. You never need to constantly post to prove you're hard working, busy or successful, you never have to post to feel worthy and enough by showing you're living your best life, you never have to post to prove yourself to anyone. You can be successful, enough and living your dream life all behind the scenes and living it for YOU not for anyone else.

This world is busy, and with instant access to the online world and further stimulation, it can make our minds even busier.

We often don't like to pause, be still and reflect on our thoughts because we either don't like what the thoughts tell us and we feel uncomfortable or we believe we don't have time to be still.

We try and chase our goals and dreams, sometimes in the pursuit and accomplishment, realising it wasn't what we expected or the feeling of being on a high fades and we begin the pursuit again. We may do things to fill a void, to feel enough, to prove ourselves to others. We may say and feel things towards another person, all as a reflection on what we feel about our own selves.

The years WILL pass by, what and how do you want to be remembered? What do you truly want in life....material goals or inner peace? You can for sure have both just know that one will without a doubt make you feel the truest form of happiness and is not dependent on anything, whilst the other one is temporary.

Take a moment with your thoughts and question your purpose, your pursuit, your actions towards life and people, your treatment towards others, who are you?....and who do you want to be?

It's been a busy couple of weeks delivering talks in person and online for various conferences and companies

I absolutely love the conversations that come from this session, it truly gives people a chance to share their thoughts, their feelings and issues that cause any stressors in a safe space. It's an opportunity to discuss matters that we often struggle with alone, and a place where we discover we are NOT alone.

Whether it's issues with work life balance, colleague relationships, time restraints, over worked, burnout, environment etc talking about it supports Wellbeing by exploring possible next steps, listening to others who may have gone through something similar and knowing that positive changes are possible.

Whatever your role, wherever you work, the key is that you are HAPPY doing what you do, that you still have a purpose and passion behind your role. Without that it will impact your productivity, relationships, motivation, and ultimately your mental health.

There is a difference between low mood and depression, low mood can come and go whereas depression is when that low mood lasts consistently over approximately 3 weeks.

Both can stem from various things, life circumstances, trauma, stressful events, relationships and physical health issues.

Low mood can usually be supported by making adjustments and amendments to daily life such as improving sleep, better eating habits, doing exercise and talking to someone. Yes simple things but things that actually work and can slowly start lifting that mood. It's common when you have external pressures and worries and begin to neglect yourself that you are start to feel mentally low or burnt out. Prioritising yourself even in small doses can slowly start to support you getting back to where you need to be.

Depression can feel like no matter what you do that low feeling doesn't want to shift. There appears to be a black cloud that just follows you everywhere, it's hard to feel the joy, excitement or happiness in anything no matter how big or small. You may experience mood swings, find it hard to be around people, want to retreat, and can often have suicidal thoughts because you don't see hope or a way out.

It's important to acknowledge how you are feeling, if anything has caused or triggered it and how long it has been lasting for. If doing small acts of self care don't impact your mood positively at all it's so vital you speak to someone.

This is the tough bit because it takes courage to speak out. When I had depression I didn't even know where to begin, I didn't know why I had it, I wasn't sure what was causing it and I thought if I don't get it how can anyone else?

It doesn't need to make sense. Talk to someone you trust and then seek professional support with a GP or therapist....because this story does not end here and you can and WILL feel happier

YOU ARE ENOUGH

You do not have to achieve a goal to feel like you are enough

You do not need a certain number of friends to feel enough

You do not need anyone's validation to feel enough

You do not need letters after your name to feel enough

You do not need to be busy constantly doing things to feel enough

You do not need to prove anything to feel enough

You have always been enough, always worthy, always complete from the moment you were born. Think about that baby that first arrived onto this planet, loveable, wonderful, enough through their learning and growing journey. Not worrying about falling over when you tried to walk, not stressing when you made a mess or threw food everywhere, simply confident that through it all you were still good enough...until people and experiences began to change your opinion.

Peel the layers back, let go of experiences and people's words that no longer serve you, look within and feel that part of you that always knew you were enough.

Grow, reach for your goals and dreams but never let any of those be a condition or correlation in making you feel enough.

Write it down, affirm it, put it as a screensaver, stick post it notes everywhere and continue to remind yourself of the words

I AM ENOUGH

Grateful to live another day 🙏 open my eyes and have another opportunity to learn, live, grow and love ❤️

I started my birthday at midnight standing outside staring at the aquarius moon thinking about what I wanted to let go off, hold on to and work on going forwards.

I reflected deeply on the blessings I felt and the immense gratitude I felt for the people in life.

There was a large period of my life where I felt I wasn't worthy, enough or lovable. My insecurities kept me searching to fill a void that was never going to get filled by looking externally....until it became clear through many learnings to look internally.

Liking myself to loving myself and embracing my perfectly imperfect self changed everything including not just my mindset and perception but the people around me. So deeply grateful for the kindest of messages, support and love I've felt not just today but over the years....you've been a huge part of my transformation and life...THANK YOU.

I spent the rest of the day in Wales where I met my husband, where my journey truly began and what better way to have fun then do something together as a family, something completely new and so fun....axe throwing 🤣 Piyus wasn't impressed....I beat him many times 🤣

You CAN meditate/do zen practices AND do something on the opposite scale lol both are totally great for mental and physical health 😉😊
