Can you help? 💙

We’re looking for 30 volunteers to join Team Petty Pool at the Essar Chester Half Marathon on Sunday 17 May, 8.30am–1pm.

We’ll be running a water station in Mollington, cheering runners on and bringing our brilliant Petty Pool spirit to the day. You’ll receive a free crew top, goody bag and refreshments as a thank you for helping out!

By volunteering, you’ll also be helping us raise £250 to support opportunities for young people at Petty Pool 💙

Hope you had a lovely Easter and Bank Holiday 🌻

If you’re 16+ with learning disabilities or difficulties and looking for a welcoming place to make friends, try new things and build confidence, Petty Pool in the Community could be right for you.

At PPC, you choose how you spend your day, from cooking, shopping and learning new skills, to walks, trips out, cafés, fitness and socialising. Everything we do is member‑led and shaped by what matters to you.

Limited spaces remaining for our Easter Adventure Days at Petty Pool!

Looking for an exciting way to keep the kids active this Easter break? Adventure Days offer a full day of outdoor fun for children aged 6–13.

We welcome young adventurers of all abilities and make sure everyone feels included, supported and has fun!

🗓 Tuesday 7th - Friday 10th April 2026
⏰ 9am - 4pm
💷 £35 per child, per day
📍Location: Venturewood at Petty Pool, Sandiway, Cheshire.

Activities may include:
🌲 High ropes, climbing challenges & zipwire
🛶 Canoeing & raft building
🔥 Bushcraft & campfire cooking
🥾 Local hill walks
🐿 Nature trails & team games

These relaxed drop‑in sessions are a great opportunity for parents to chat with our team, ask any questions about the move, or discuss anything else you’d like support with.

As we get closer to settling into our new space on the 23rd February, we’re starting to gather bits and pieces to help make it feel warm, welcoming and homely for everyone who visits.

If you’re having a clear‑out or replacing things at home, we’d be really grateful for any unwanted furniture or household items you no longer need.

We’re especially looking for:

Sofas and chairs
Lamps and small furnishings
Home décor
Cutlery, crockery, and kitchen essentials
Storage units or shelving
Small tables, cushions and soft furnishings
