Hi I just want to apologise to all of my clients that I have had to cancel this week due to having covid. Thank you for your understanding. I have tested today and it came back as a negative so that's good. I'm still not feeling great but hopefully another day of rest tomorrow and I'll be back to work on Monday. On the positive side I have had time to sit and do my cross stitch. Those that know will know this is a photograph of my son that I am doing. He was 8 months old on the photo and is now 23 years. 🤣. Looking forward to getting back to work and seeing you all. Xx

Hi I want to thank all my friends and clients for your recommendations. At this present moment I have to close my books as I am at full capacity with my regular clients that I see. I am amazed at how my little business is going as I never would have dreamed that I could achieve this. It shows you that hard work and determination can pay off. Thank you again.xx

I love to meditate. Some people say they can't do it. I agree it takes practice. I find It beneficial towards my mental health. It encourages me to be in my own place, where I feel calm with no stress or pressure. This morning I was doing some of my kinesiology course. I was leaning about the atlas (top vertebrae on the spine). The effect on the mind and body this vertebrae has. It can become misaligned due to many factors including stress. But a simple procedure can help keep it in situ. Nodding the head 100 times a day. This can be done at intervals of 20 five times a day. I then did this meditation. It was so powerful I could visualise the light travelling through my body and yes I feel more grateful for my body and what it can do. It made me think about how much we abuse our bodies. Food, drink lack of exercise as well as pampering ourselves. Let's all look after our bodies to ensure optimal health. Stay well. Xx

Hi sorry been quiet on here lately. Life has been busy. I recently bought a book of poems by Donna Ashworth. These poems are to help lift us up when we have those down moments. We all have them and it is part of life. I believe these down moments help us to realise how good the up moments are. When we have those down moments it is good if we can realise why we are feeling this way. To recognise our emotions and what may have triggered them. It's good to talk to others about them if we can. I have to say menopause does help with giving you different emotions. I wanted to share with you this poem that I randomly picked today. I felt it resonated with how I have been feeling recently. Xx

Hi hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine . Just a reminder that after your massage if going into the sun to ensure you shower to take oil off as this avoids burning. Also ensure you drink plenty of water to wash out toxins and keeps you and your muscles hydrated. Xx

In this morning's meditation one part stood out to me. They explained how holding anger in our body could feel like holding a hot coal in our hand!! I found this interesting and could see how this was possible. How often do we hold on to our anger? What are the reasons for this? Maybe we don't want to hurt others? Whatever the reason it is best to allow that anger to be released. It is good to show our anger. We show happiness quite freely so why not anger? They did a visualisation of being by the sea and throwing the hot coal into the sea. So if you are holding on to your anger let it go. It will make you feel better within yourself. Xx

BE CURIOUS, a picture from the lovely book The boy, the mole, the fox and the horse. Be curious, I heard this a lot in my 2nd year at uni. I kept getting told that I wasn't curious enough. What is curious? Was I afraid that I was being nosey? Maybe! But I realise that being curious would encourage the client to talk more. Although I didn't finish the course to become a counsellor I find the skills that I learnt helping my clients that I see for their therapies now. When someone needs to talk I find my skills very useful and find that I'm more curious about their feelings and curious to why they feel like that. I try to also be curious about my own feelings and where they come from. Where do I feel those feelings in my body? I encourage you to do the same. See what happens. Xx
