The smell of Christmas filled the air today as our Burlingham bakers proceed to make our Christmas puddings.

A lovely morning visit from Pat dog Molly. We then finished off our Christmas angels 😇

Armchair travel to Germany today. We enjoyed eating and seeing German food and watching the slap dance. We looked at the national costume of Germany and this was followed by German inspired lunch and snacks from the happy trolly. We can't wait till we visit our next country.

With Christmas on its way we made our very own advent calendar. We can't wait to start getting the chocolate on 1st December.

We had fun yesterday with our rummage box. It's amazing what we found in there. We then had a lovely visit from our Pat dog Molly.

Posh coffee and cake today. Lots of conversation and delicious cakes and don't forget the posh coffees and teas.

We had some time today with our reminiscence tray. The smell of soap and the different things we used to have like thimbles and tiny glasses. Our tray was a real conversation piece.

Children in need today and we had a bit of fun at Burlingham House messing around with balloons and taking pictures.

Games and puzzles this morning finished off with a lovely afternoon with Kitty and Cedric who came to sing for us. We really love our musical afternoons

11th day of the 11th month is when we remember the fallen. It was all about remembrance today. We watched the service whilst making poppy wreaths and doing word searches and observed the 2 minutes silence to remember. A poignant day for us all.

We had a lovely morning flower arranging and a lovely visit from Molly the Pat dog. It amazing how many smiles our furry friends make.❤️

It's been busy couple days at Burlingham House. On Friday we had a bit of a pamper from our hairdresser faye. Today we carried on with our Christmas cake and the whole home smelled like Christmas One of our residents wanted to reminisce about the bands of the 60s. We always enjoy a bit of variety.
