Then WELCOME to the Great Birth Club!

If you are preparing to bring your baby into the world, this community is for you!

We will be gathering monthly in person to share:
🎢 support and solidarity through the rollercoaster of pregnancy!
📚 No nonsense information to help you understand what to expect during birth, the options available and your rights.
🔥Strategies and tips to prepare for the great birth you deserve!

This isn't a 'picture perfect, breathe your baby out' idealistic birth course, we will be keeping it REAL, and know that a great birth can be raw, messy and intense!

✨Hi everyone!✨

Welcome to my little corner, it's been ages since I introduced myself so here's a bit about me!

I'm a birth & postnatal doula, and I'm here to help you feel calm, confident and powerful through pregnancy, birth and early parenthood. I understand that we are all working it out as we go along, and I hope to help you figure out what's most important to you so it's the best possible experience!

Usually with a cuppa, and always with a dose of good humour, I walk alongside women and families as they travel through the incredible, intense, amazing and sometimes surprising journey to meet their baby 🫶💕

I also support people at the end of their lives. I bring the same gentleness, grounding presence and non-judgemental support, and I'm honoured to witness these rites of passage.

In my spare time I can be found running into the sea in all weather, snuggled up in bed with my delicious kids and a book, or standing (lying flat) on my yoga mat. Also 10 toes down for freedom, peace, and equality. 🕊️ 🍉

If you want to know more then get in touch, I love nothing more than a deep and meaningful conversation with someone I barely know! You're in safe hands 🫶

🔥Mindset for birth🔥
Birth is not just physical, the subconscious mind plays a crucial role. Subconscious fear can disrupt birth when the body's fight-or-flight response releases adrenaline, inhibiting oxytocin production and stalling progress.

Bringing your fears into consciousness, having strategies to reduce fear and help you feel calm, and a team who understands what's really important to you can reduce fear, allowing labor to flow!

If you can process and address fear it can help you to reclaim birth, find self-trust, and inner strength.

I've been off the radar so the algorithm will probably put me back on the bottom of the pile. I've been parenting, resting a painful back, supporting my clients and just living my life! Last night I was having a lil soak in my dear friend's hot tub, it was cold outside but so lovely and warm in there. Kids were tucked up in bed, nothing needed doing in that moment. Bliss ☺️

Eight wonderful women gathered with me in a circle this evening, I am beyond grateful for their generosity of spirit, openness, vulnerability and strength. It was warm, cosy, comfy and beautiful.

I find such healing, replenishment, and comfort from joining together in circle with women, I genuinely feel it's essential for me to function as a woman, mother and doula, and especially as a motherless mother. It's a dream come true to hold a space of my own and bring women together in this way.

This weekend I'll be off to Suffolk to be held in absolute safety, love, joy, connection and curiosity my soul sister , The Queen of women's gatherings. I can't wait to see what unfolds ✨💞
