We are proud to be a part of a brilliant Specsavers fundraising campaign for Carers UK.
Our team are aiming to raise £1000 towards the target of £60,000 nationally.
Across the UK, 5.8 million unpaid carers support loved ones who are older, disabled, or seriously ill. Carers UK has been a lifeline for carers for 60 years, providing essential advice, support, and campaigning for better rights.
We are fundraising to raise awareness and help Carers UK continue their vital work, ensuring carers feel supported and valued.
Every donation helps provide resources and drive positive change. Please give what you can and help make a real difference in the lives of unpaid carers.

Pre-visit notification requirement for practitioners providing domiciliary eye care has become increasingly different across the four nations. This week Mel and Annie have been busy visiting our local communities. A huge thank you to University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust dementia team for hosting us, where we talked about the implications of eye conditions in people with dementia. Then it was over to the Nottingham City East Community Hub to raise awareness of home visits and the benefits to local communities. It was great to work with you both and we look forward to seeing you again!

One of the most rewarding parts of our business is working with charities and organisations, and discussing how home visits can provide valuable eyecare to those in need. We have had a busy month! We have been to fairs, held talks, participated in workshops, and met some wonderful people who do the most amazing work. Thank you to everyone involved in making this possible. We look forward to continue working with you all in the future

Today we are very proud to be participating in the Carers Event, in conjunction with the University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. Vision loss has a significant effect on the general wellbeing of our patients with physical and cognitive disorders, and we welcome the opportunity to discuss this with other like-minded professionals. Specsavers Carers UK
