This November, join us for a magical evening of guaranteed fun & much laughter.
Djembe Drumming is a fantastic way to ignite your sense of play, unleash your inner wild & let the joy flow in!
The djembe has been an integral part of spiritual and ritualistic life in West Africa for many generations. It was used for story-telling: passing on important historical, religious and cultural information to future generations.
3 fun facts for you:
1. The Bambara word “djembe” translates to “everyone gather together in peace.”
2. Traditionally, the djembe was used as a form of communication between tribes as its resonance could reach long distances.
3. The djembe is said to consist of three spirits: the spirit of the tree from which it was made, the spirit of the animal whose skin covers the head, and the spirit of the drum maker.
Join us and our wonderful guest Andy Harris from The Power of Drums 6.45-9.00pm on Wednesday 16th November and Wednesday 30th November for an evening of Djembe Drumming in our stunning Mongolian yurt aka ‘The Zen Den’ ☮️
Tickets are £20 per person and include drinks & nibbles.
