Last year Lily Taylor beat coronavirus and this week she celebrated her 102nd birthday 🎂

Lily marked the occasion with a cake at her care home where she enjoyed a piece or two with the other residents.

Care home manager, Carrie said, "Lily continues to be a positive lady who really has shown she is tougher at 102 than most people half her age.

"While she misses her family she often reminds us it's a game of patience and hope, just as it was during the war, and says it's not forever."

Happy birthday Lily! 💜
