I have had a baby like this & one that was a natural soother, & truly it was like night & day

If the world is very overwhelming for your more sensitive baby, light, noise, smells, movement, naturally sleep will be harder

Sleep requires a baby to filter out stimuli, so the nervous system can calm

Not all babies need a strict routine

This is your reminder that you can do whatever you want with your baby

You don’t have to be led by sleep charts or apps

Unless that works for you, if it does that’s great! This isn’t a dig at these things, just to highlight they are not essential

The key piece is calculating your baby’s 24 hour sleep needs, as long as you work within this, you can be flexible

To avoid bedtime shifting an hour later 👇

Option 1 Wake your baby 15 minutes earlier on the Wednesday, bring all naps & bedtime forward by 15. 15 minutes earlier Thursday, then Friday & Saturday. This shifts your baby’s routine by 1 hour

Option 2 do Wednesday shift it by 30 minutes stick with these 2 times for 2 days. Friday 30 minutes earlier again

option 3 - don’t do a damn think, bedtimes later on that night, but you wake them at the normal wake up on the Monday!
