Final reminder to give us a call to add names to the service, We are looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday.
✨Our annual Memorial service is fast approaching ✨
Please join us and our friends at St Martin's Sherwood on Sunday 7th December @ 6pm.
A beautiful service of remembrance will be delivered by Rev Sue Pendenque and our staff and there will be the opportunity to light a candle to remember your loved ones followed by a cuppa and a mince pie.

Also known as a direct cremation, this option involves no guests or formal ceremony at the time. It is a more private choice, often followed by a separate memorial or celebration of life.

This festive season, we invite you to visit Baguley Brothers and take a moment to remember your loved ones.
Our Christmas Memorial Tree is a special place where you can write a heartfelt message on a memorial tag and hang it on our tree in their memory.
From Monday 1st December our tree will be up in the reception area of the branch,
Baguley Brothers, 500, Mansfield Road, Sherwood, NG5 2FB.
Let’s come together to celebrate, reflect, and honor those who hold a special place in our hearts. Everyone is welcome.

Nourish Cafe at St Martins Church is still going strong every Monday and our Funeral Service Specialist Sam will be attending today to support.

Understanding the Role of a Coroner
When someone passes away, there are times when a coroner may need to be involved to help understand more about the circumstances of their death.
A coroner is a specially appointed official who looks into deaths that are:
• Sudden or unexpected
• Possibly due to unnatural causes
• Where the cause isn’t immediately clear
• Where a Medical Certificate of Cause of Death isn’t available
• Or where the person’s identity needs to be confirmed
Their role is to gently and thoroughly investigate how, when, and where someone died, not only for official records, but also to help provide answers for families during a difficult time.
