Retford & Villages Primary Care Network - PCN Retford and Villages Primary Care Network (PCN) is a partnership of five GP Surgeries looking after nearly half of registered patients in Bassetlaw.

It covers a large rural area, the town of Retford and smaller surrounding villages.

Our 'Ongoing with Cancer' course starts on Monday 19th Jan 3pm-4:30pm for 6 consecutive Mondays
This free course is for anyone living with a non-curative cancer diagnosis. It offers emotional and practical support to help you navigate your situation, in a safe and understanding space.
We’ll explore important topics such as:
💬 Having difficult conversations with family and friends
🧘‍♀️ Managing stress and anxiety
❤️ Identifying what matters most to you
💊 Coping with treatment side effects
📝 Planning ahead – including legal matters
👥 The group is small (4–6 people), and while it’s normal to feel unsure at first, many find real support in sharing with others who are in a similar position and understand.
The course is run by Lizzie (Cancer Support Specialist) and Charlie (Centre Psychologist).

We know that as well as gifts, Christmas can deliver huge emotions, big regrets, and plenty of sadness. We understand.
All our groups are back open from January 1st, and there is national support available if you need some help before then.
It’s ok if Christmas isn’t perfect.
