After five incredible years running sessions from the beautiful Dovestone area, we’re so excited to open bookings for our February Half Term Holiday Club!

Every year, children join us for the adventure of a lifetime β€” building dens under the trees, exploring nature with real curiosity, learning new skills, and growing in confidence with every challenge they take on. Whether it’s cooking over the campfire, discovering hidden wildlife, or making friends that feel like family, WILD is a place where children truly thrive.

A magical day at Dovestone Reservoir πŸŒ²πŸ„
Today we wandered through misty pine forests, spotted the striking red fly agaric mushrooms, and took in the beautiful views over the water.
We also added our wishes to the ancient money tree β€” gently hammering coins into the wood as people have done for centuries.
Wishing trees are part of old British folklore, where people leave offerings β€” coins, ribbons, or cloth β€” as a way of sending their hopes, dreams, or prayers into nature. Each coin represents a wish, and together they tell a story of hope, kindness, and connection through generations.
We ended our day with toasted marshmallows by the fire, warm hands and happy hearts πŸ”₯
