🌏 Today is World Mental Health Day 🌏

We want to empower everyone to look after their mental health.

Common mental health problems such as anxiety, stress, feeling low and depression can affect anyone. Whilst these feelings can be a natural response to life’s challenges, they can become more serious if we don’t do something to help improve our mental health.

Small steps make a big difference.

Why not take some time out this World Mental Health Day and make a commitment to 5 small steps with the power to make a huge difference to your mental health and wellbeing?

💛 Connect: Take time to connect with those around you – nurture the relationships that are important to you

🎓 Keep Learning: Try a new hobby or a learn a new skill. Enjoy the experience of trying something new.

🏃 Be Active: Take time out to move your body. Walk, run, cycle, dance, play tennis. Just pick something and enjoy the movement.

👀 Take Notice: Take a moment to observe the world around you. Use your senses – see, hear, smell, taste and touch – to experience your life.

🤝 Give: You can offer your time, knowledge, listening ear or encouragement to those in need around you. Whether a volunteering morning or a thoughtful conversation, it will make a difference.
