Why do some people misunderstand or don't beleive Reflexology?

It activates the nervous system. Often, it's simply a lack of exposure, not resistance.

Reflexology isn’t just a foot massage. It’s a precise, therapeutic technique that stimulates reflex points linked to every organ and system in the body including the brain. But because it’s subtle, non-invasive, and deeply holistic, it doesn’t always fit the conventional model of treatment.

Some people need to feel the shift to believe it, and that’s okay. Reflexology works gently, often profoundly, and always in partnership with the body’s own healing intelligence.

If you’ve experienced better sleep, reduced anxiety, improved digestion, or emotional release after a session, you would understand and know. And if you haven’t yet, maybe it’s time to try.

When still studying, I practiced on a woman who had chronic bronchiactisis and when she came for the third treatment, she told me she was feeling worse than ever before and wondered why she came back. I explained that her body started a process to find a balance in its functioning. Lucky, she came back a week later for the fourth treatment and she shared she felt much better!
The nervous system is balanced and sends messages to all organs including the brain.

It's World Reflexology Week! 😍

📖 Reflexology is rooted in ancient traditions, with origins tracing back to Egypt, China and India. The practice is based on the principle that specific points on the feet, hands and ears correspond to different organs and systems within the body. By applying focused pressure to these areas, Reflexologists aim to trigger the body’s natural healing processes and restore internal balance.

The Benefits of Reflexology

✨May Help with Stress Relief: Reflexology is championed for its ability to reduce stress and promote relaxation. The gentle pressure applied during a session may help calm the nervous system, allowing the body to release tension and anxiety.

✨May Improve Circulation: Reflexology is said to enhance blood circulation, which is crucial for delivering oxygen and nutrients to cells.

✨May Promote Pain Relief: Many people turn to Reflexology to alleviate chronic pain conditions, such as migraines, back pain and arthritis. By targeting specific reflex points, Reflexologists can help reduce pain and discomfort.

✨May Enhance Wellbeing: Regular Reflexology sessions may lead to a sense of overall wellbeing. Clients often report improved sleep, increased energy levels and a greater sense of balance in their lives.
