The point here is that we WILL believe you! Whatever you've been through we are on your side!!!!!!!!

"Not all men but always a man" right? 🫥

"Panicked he'd be arrested again he kept quiet about the abuse" (he didn't actually do anything to warrant the arrest but another case of a false accusation for those that didn't read the article).

I watched a Jubilee video where a man after being attacked and in Hospital told his Mom and a nurse he'd also been SA and the nurse laughed and his Mom didn't believe him.

Watch Channel 5s "My wife my abuser" - truly horrific, another case where the woman as the abuser presents herself as the victim to everyone around her but the man bravely installed cctv and showed how he was a quivering wreck as she assualted and degraded him every second.

Sadly this has yet again proved why men are not represented in the statistics regarding DA statistics and thier victimhood is ignored.

I know this will get "laugh reacts" which proves my point nevermind the vile social media groups claiming "The male lonliness epidemic should be worse". If you preach tolerance and acceptance then that SHOULD NOT extend only as far as your own inner circle. If you abuse or attack anyone because they are male then demand equality you need a good hard look in the mirror as are not the kind, bubbly, sweet, caring angel you have probably made yourself out to be.

My condolences to his family.

Again, we WILL be on your side and you guys are not alone nor will you be dismissed or ignored.

His children were left without a dad on Christmas morning.

You are the company you keep. People who bring out the best in you and always have your best interests at heart are the best medicine there is. We all have our blindspots so its important to recognise the green flags too and to surround ourselves with people be it friends, a friend or family that display these 🙂

Massive thank you to the lads at Oswestry Men’s Mental Health Club for having me tonight. It meant a lot to come back into a room that helped me massively in the past and be able to give something back in my own way.

I really appreciated how welcoming everyone was, and it was great to share something simple with the group that’s helped keep me steady over the last few months.

For anyone who took a breakdown sheet of the chord charts or one of the guitar pick necklaces I made — I hope it brings you a bit of calm when you need it... And a special thank you to the fella who said he’ll follow up for the free sessions — I’m looking forward to it and sharing a bit of what i know so it can hopefully help you along your Journey! 😁

The group does incredible work for men who just need a place to speak, breathe, or just not feel on their own. If you haven’t checked them out yet and you’re local, they’re worth a look.
Thanks again for letting me be part of the evening lads.

Really appreciated it 🎸🥲

Just a HUGE thank you to Adam Craven for sharing his music and in his own words 'giving back' to the group this week on Wednesday! It was incredibly well recieved and much appreciated.

We appreciate all our special guests/guest speakers and always enjoy thier contributions.

UPDATES/ANNOUNCEMENTS/REMINDERS ETC.

Group rules:

1.As Danny Evans stated at the very first group that nobody is to make anyone at the group feel uncomfortable otherwise they will be asked to leave. The groups are never to be used to target another individual in the group and your attendance will be heavily reconsidered if this is not adhered to. Interactions outside the group are not applicable as its the group that serves as the designated safe space. When in the group we are there to build each other up not break each other down especially as attendees may already be feeling vulnerable and such behavior could only make thier vulnerability greater.
2. Confidentiality, whats said in the group and within the confines of the venue between attendees is not to be shared with anybody outside the venue. Trust is paramount.
3. Listen to everybody, some may need 5 minutes and others longer but try and be present for all.

MUSIC! 🎸!

In his own words:

Shropshire Guitar Tuition has kindly offered to share some music with us at the next group, doing a short 15–20 minute set as a way of giving back and showing appreciation for the support from the lads here.

As part of this, he’s offering 2 free one-to-one guitar sessions to 5 regular attendees who feel it might help them with confidence, creativity, or just trying something new.

This will take place at the next meeting, so try to be there for 7pm prompt.
Normal group format will resume afterwards.

At his request, feel free to follow his page if you’d like to keep up with what he’s doing.

ADVERTISING THANK YOU!!

A HUGE thank you to Bradley Jones for his recent advertising efforts! Please keep your eyes peeled for posters and other mediums around the local area!

I share music with others 🎸
