Hi all. Scott Hebson( The Brain Coach) has just messaged asking if anybody is interested in doing a mental health first aid course.

Likely the 31st.
Minimum of 6 people needed.

£55 per head.

Undetermined venue.

Today we had someone in a local community group demean all our efforts claiming 12 men have k****** themselves this year and its all 'rubbish' according to them.

We at no point have claimed to save everyone. We cannot know whats in peoples heads BUT we have and DO help people! I cannot and will not breach confidentiality but can say we have supported people in very very dark places who are certainly in less dark places because of the judgement free friendly supportive space we foster EVERY week!

I understand the stigma around mens mental health but doing nothing and turning a blind eye is worse than no solution at all! We cannot fix everything but CAN help and make things easier.

Its easy to become jaded and I understand losing hope but don't take that hope from other people. Do not dismiss us until you've tried us.
