Everyone at Kings Manor would like to say a huge thank you to Catherine, who had been attending our conversation club on a Sunday as part of her work experience. We have really enjoyed her company over the past few months and we're very grateful for the delicious Ginger cake she baked for us on her last day.

We've had a busy week here at Kings Manor!

Festivities have started, baking a Christmas cake, a trip to a local garden centre to see the Christmas lights and decorating the home together.

We've been getting physical with some more movement sessions, balloon tennis and some festive magic table games.
We celebrated international men's day with a few games of table top pool and finished working on our golf putting targets in our weekly gentlemen's club.

The residents enjoyed some singalongs with a visiting entertainer and also some karaoke with Pom poms!

Our calming watercolour art sessions was wonderful, painting while listening to some classical music.

After one of our residents had expressed a keen interest for making Christmas cake, we decided to bake one!Everyone help...

After one of our residents had expressed a keen interest for making Christmas cake, we decided to bake one!

Everyone helped with the various job, greasing the tin, cracking the eggs and pouring and measuring ingredients. We all had a go at stirring, including Lynda from admin!

We had the most amazing day hosting the Just Bowl tournament between Claremont Manor and ourselves.

So much fun and laughter made the day unforgettable and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well done Claremont for taking first place. We look forward to a rematch soon!
