This raises your blood pressure and is very dangerous if you're at risk of pre-eclampsia. "If you’re a woman in your late 30’s/ early 40’s and you’re noticing some things are changing with the way you feel physically and mentally this one is for you.

I wish I knew sooner that in our mid-late 30’s and 40’s we become less metabolically flexible. AKA - our bodies can no longer “bounce back” as easily .

That’s why these years before heading into the depths of peri-menopause are crucial.

Below are 4 habits that should be non-negotiable when you enter peri-menopause.

AND if you have friends in a similar life stage to you be sure to send this post their way.

🍋Start your morning with water, daylight and 50 hops. This sets your circadian rhythm and set your tone for the day. Daylight before bluelight means no more scrolling in bed and starting your day feeling sluggish and depressed.

Increase your protein to 100g+ per day. That looks like at least 30g per meal + a snack.

Protein is life, it revs up your metabolism🔥, is the foundation for hormone production, blood sugar balance, and muscle maintenance, all of which decline in our 30’s.

🏋️‍♀️ Strength and resistance training 2 per week

Building and maintaining muscle is key for a fiery metabolism that doesn’t mean you gain weight just looking at a cookie. It helps protect your bones, regulate insulin, and maintain lean mass as hormones begin to decline in per-menopause. It’s the true anti-aging remedy.

😴 Enhance your sleep

Sleep in a cool room of 18 degrees, eat 3 hours before bed and dim the overhead lights and have a 60 minute blue light detox before bed. Quality sleep keeps cortisol in check, boost melatonin (which is your anti-inflammatory hormone) and allows your body to repair on a cellular level."

🚚 Next Day Delivery:

After that, our elves take a well-earned break 🎅 — the warehouse closes from lunchtime 23rd Dec to 2nd Jan, reopening with a reduced team on 29th & 30th Dec for express orders only.

We’ll upgrade to 24-hour delivery in December, but please note - it’s never a guarantee during peak season!
