Small changes are easier to miss, especially in older dogs or those with past injuries.

Early signs are often subtle:

Another fab client Mali enjoying his pre-Christmas physio session… 🎄🐾

Our recent session focused on reducing pain and muscle tension through the back and shoulders, managing arthritic changes in his elbows, and strengthening his back legs to improve even weight-bearing and reduce overload through the front end.

With hands-on treatment, laser therapy and a tailored home exercise programme, Mali is building better strength, stability and confidence in movement

Client spotlight: Clay 🐕

I’ve been treating Clay for the past 3 months now to support the management of his suspected elbow osteoarthritis. This had been causing him noticeable discomfort, along with secondary tightness through his triceps and thoracic sling caused by excessive bracing, trigger points along his back, and general stiffness through his hips and stifles. He also presented with intermittent hindlimb lameness, which we’ve been steadily working through.

Across his sessions, our focus has been on reducing his elbow pain, improving joint mobility, and addressing the compensatory tension that developed as a result. By combining regular laser therapy, targeted sports massage, manual therapy, and a structured home exercise programme (including controlled stretches, cavaletti walking, and weight-shifting exercises), Clay has continued to make brilliant progress.

These ongoing treatments are helping to keep his joints healthy, improve his movement quality, and support the active lifestyle he loves, all while keeping him as comfortable as possible.

And just look at that face… an absolute pleasure to treat every single time ❤️

I get a lot of questions from owners about how laser therapy can help their pets, so here’s a quick look at the key benefits..
