Today we took a trip to Logans Logs in Wadebridge in Cornwall, where we finally met fellow Tiktok Creator Badger who runs Noon Cregg. CIC Veterans Retreat. and Harry Logan, Managering Director of Logan's Logs and Noon Cregg
We are so excited that the 3 Remembrance Rocks are at their new Home
Badger kindly gave me a Big Cornish Slate Slab to paint for my recovery project, that will definitely keep me busy and we get to place the Poppy Rocks Project 2026 in Cornwall Get on.
Right to make this happen we need rocks and rocks and rocks so we need to make funds on top what our hero donates us.
We will be selling Poppy Rocks for you to purchase for your gardens.

We would like to eventually in the future supply our lovely arty volunteers with paint supplies and would like to make donations to Veterans Hubs and MH Charities from Poppy Rocks Sales
My mission when I started MHR was No1 keep me mentally active to stop that black hole from appearing. No2 Support MH Awareness by placing Painted Rocks around the bay that will give someone hope who is struggling with their emotions and No3 being kind, showing someone we care and to make smiles and positivity

These 3 beautiful stunning works of art will be presented to Noon Cregg. CIC Veterans Retreat. in Cornwall on Saturday by ourselves
When I started my Tiktok journey, they posted a poem written by Chris M a Veteran
Chris writes poems to help him mentally and it was an instant wow moment and I needed to get it transferred to a rock
Sponsored by stones4gardens and with the help of our artist Cathy Runham, it was mission completed
The Rocks will have their forever home and it will be a great welcome to new veterans staying at the Retreat

Bit of a mix of emotions for good and bad reasons on placement day
Good: This is our Tribute in Brixham, everyone who saw us stopped to chat and were so overwhelmed what we were doing for our Heroes
Bad: We got to Princess Gardens, everything was going great halfway round I was made aware that some rocks had disappeared.
The lovely lady then explained that she challenged a gentleman was grabbing handfuls of our Poppy Rocks with anger and threw them into the Marina, when the lady told him to stop, his reply to her was Poppies are offensive and they promote war. When I revisited where we had started up to 30 rocks were missing. Straight away I wanted to just leave and go home, because I felt offended that he had no respect to our Heroes, no respect to months of care we put in our hands with every brush stroke, yes the were just rocks in the beginning but when the Poppy was on there it became pride it was fulfillment, it helped us mentally, but his actions just flattened me.
Back to good: After my daughter Maisy's motivational speech to me off not giving up because the MHR team have worked hard for our heroes, we replaced the missing ones and continued our mission and the lovely lady that stopped the man, well she asked to join MHR to paint Poppy Rocks next year
I will post more pictures of tomorrows parade and Princess Gardens in the daylight

We are so super proud of the Team and Members of Space - Launching Futures for being involved with the Poppy Rocks Project
Their fabulous poppy creations will be on display in Princess Gardens taking pride of place near the Cenotaph
Please pop down and take a look at all the Poppy Rocks
Thank you to all involved, it's been an honour having you helping to make it happen, because all our Armed Forces, Veterans and the Animals are our heroes
We hand painted a staggering 2100 Poppy Rocks in total to be placed in various locations from Brixham to Torquay Cenotaph early hours Sunday morning
We will start again but in January to make our Tribute Bigger
Next year we want more communities involvement, plus we would like more sponsorship involvement for supplies

Hi everyone it looks very unlikely the Poppy Rocks Project will be along Paignton Seafront, as I've just driven past and there is Harris Fencing blocking access to a good section of it at the exit next to the Redcliffe Hotel Paignton Devon and not sure about access by the Vue Cinema
I don't want to put them near the beach as they most likely be washed away by the tide.
We will either store them for next year or sell them for supplies needed for next year

We started in March this year hand painting pebbles with words of comfort and positivity, because of my own personal struggle with emotions and one night I had a dream to paint rocks to give others hope, by July, we placed 700 rocks around Torbay to support mental health awareness. In June I started the Great Torbay Poppy Rocks Project, hand painting Red and Purple Poppies on Pebbles to honor our Armed Forces, Veterans and Animals by July 3 local lady artists and a donor of supplies volunteered their time in the project, our target was 1500.
To date we are on 2000 Poppy Rocks and with 1 week to go it's all brushes ahead to get as much as we can done. Then on Saturday the 8th at 10pm till the early hours, more volunteers will place the Poppy Rocks in Brixham through to Torquay's Cenotaph in time for Remembrance Day
This has been a fantastic journey, meeting our Veterans our heroes, traveling to Hastings to hopefully do the Poppy Rocks Project there next year with the East Sussex Veterans Hub, 99/100 Group
We will then travel to Cornwall to donate 3 large decorated rocks to Noon Cregg. CIC Veterans Retreat., both Organisations help Veterans back on their feet through Homelessness and Mental Health Struggles, please support them on their pages, they would appreciate it
We will start back hand painting poppies on rocks in January because to us EVERYDAY IS REMEMBRANCE DAY

From the Rocks original placement in Paignton by an AMC Facilitator in the beginning of the month, it has travelled to it's new placement in Woolacombe
It's just so special the AMC Rock has given 2 separate people comfort during it's journey
