I’m delighted to be starting a brand new 4-week Qigong block in Innerleithen at Stay Scotland Studio. If you missed your place for my Peebles classes which started last week, you are very welcome to join me here.

This is a great class, if you’re looking to build calm, improve your energy and feel more grounded each week.

For golfers and other athletes, February can feel like an in between month.
The main season has not quite started, yet you can already sense movement building beneath the surface.

Even though the Spring Equinox arrives in March, this time now is the quiet preparatory phase.
A chance to plant seeds in the mind, to clear old patterns and to set intentions for how you want to meet the new season.

This is where practices like hypnotherapy, meditation and Qigong can help you return to centre, so that when the light increases and the schedule picks up, you are ready within yourself, not just in your swing or your training.

It was nice at the awards to be able to share a little more about what I do.

I work as a clinical hypnotherapist, a professional golfer and a golf wellbeing coach, helping people work with the mind to improve performance in sport. Golf is my main area, although I also support other sports people, both professional and amateur.

Alongside that, I work with everyday clients who are dealing with stress, anxiety, habits or emotional patterns that hypnotherapy and energy work can help to ease.

The Year of the Fire Horse brings strong movement and intensity.
In performance, that kind of fire can be a gift, it drives ambition, focus and the desire to achieve more.

The challenge is not to put the fire out, but to contain it, to guide it.
When intensity is not regulated, it can turn into burnout, frustration or emotional overload.

Hypnotherapy is one of the tools I use to help people work with their inner fire, not against it.
We look at the patterns underneath the drive, calm the nervous system, and create space so that your energy can be channelled into clear, steady action rather than constant fight.

Fire can be powerful, when it is held well.
