What an incredible experience delivering such a fun athletics camp alongside an amazing team of coaches 🙌🔥

It’s always powerful to see young athletes grow in confidence, develop their skills, and most importantly—enjoy the process! Athletics is such a fantastic foundation for all sports, and it was brilliant to see the energy, effort, and enthusiasm throughout the camp 💪✨

🏃‍♂️ Why athletics is so valuable:
🏃‍♀️ Builds speed, strength, and endurance
🏃 Improves coordination and body control
🏃‍♂️ Develops discipline and goal setting
🏃‍♀️ Boosts confidence and resilience
🏃 Encourages personal challenge and self-improvement

🏃‍♂️ Transferable skills to team sports:
🏃‍♀️ Acceleration and sprinting for game situations
🏃 Agility and change of direction
🏃‍♂️ Spatial awareness and movement efficiency
🏃‍♀️ Mental toughness under pressure
🏃 Communication and teamwork through group activities
🏃‍♂️ Work ethic and positive attitude

Massive thank you to everyone involved—coaches, athletes, and supporters 👏👏
Looking forward to the next one already.

Meet Sarah Keen as she talks about her aims for the next 3 months. I am looking forward to being a part of her training programme.

‘To achieve consistency in my training and find my love of running again! When life gets too busy with kids, horses, dogs and work, my running is usually the first thing to drop off the priority list! I’d love to follow a more structured training schedule to keep me on track and keep running as a priority in my busy life!
More specific aim:
To get back to running at a decent pace! My last 10km (on roads) was 1 hour 3 mins. Would like to get back down towards 50-55 mins (and sub-25 for 5km) if possible! And also to do more on trails/hills as I prefer this to roads. I’ve always just “run”, never really followed a proper training programme so I’m excited to see how that can help me achieve my goals more effectively.
Would be good to run approx 4 times per week, probably for up to an hour max. 😁’

Looking to gauge interest in a winter trail running block for adults.

It can be easy to ignore or lose motivation for trail running during the dark winter months.

Sessions will be differentiated, so that everyone is challenged at their own level.

Thursday evenings from 6.30-7.30pm

10 sessions for £60.

starting and finishing at Jennies Brae.

First session - Thursday 6th November 18.30
Final session - Thursday 15th January 18.30 (allowing for no run on 1st)

This would take us very close to the Glentress trail running events in February. It’s always good to have an event to focus on.

Feel free to send me a message if you are keen, or would like more information.
