Caitlyn has had a fun-filled and busy day with the residents at Bush House. They spent the morning baking together while happily gossiping over a Take a Break magazine and enjoying a few Celebrations. This afternoon they wrapped up warm and headed out for a refreshing winter walk with Caitlyn, taking in the fresh air and a change of scenery.

We also had the joy of celebrating our wonderful Olive’s birthday today. Happy birthday, Olive, with all the love in the world from your Bush House family.

After such a packed day, we think the residents will sleep well tonight!

Our lovely Linda has been busy in the kitchen today baking up a storm — delicious milk chocolate & fudge cupcakes and vanilla cupcakes filled with strawberry jam! 😋

Our residents couldn’t wait to enjoy them with their afternoon cuppa — what a treat! 💕👩‍🍳

We celebrated our wonderful resident Donald’s birthday! 🥳 He had a fantastic day surrounded by smiles, laughter, and of course… cake! 🎉🍰

Donald certainly enjoyed every bite— and we loved celebrating with him! 💙

We had the most amazing visitor join us — a beautiful therapy pony! 🥰 The residents were absolutely delighted, giving lots of cuddles, smiles, and even a few sneaky attempts to “pony-nap” him so he wouldn’t have to leave! 😂💖

Moments like these truly warm our hearts — the joy and laughter in the room said it all. Thank you to our lovely visitor for spreading so much happiness at Bush House! 🌟

Our residents had an absolutely wonderful afternoon dancing and singing along with the amazing Robbie Gould, who performed live here at Bush House! 💃🕺

There were smiles all around as familiar tunes filled the room — bringing back so many lovely memories and creating some new ones too. ❤️

A huge thank you to Robbie for putting on such a fantastic show — we can’t wait to have you back again soon! 🎤✨

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately — sorry about that! We’ve been so busy having fun with our residents that it’s been hard to keep up with posting! 🧡

Here’s a sneak peek of our pumpkin carving session, where everyone got creative and a little bit messy! The residents had a fantastic time designing their pumpkins and getting into the Halloween spirit. 👻✨

✨ Training Day at the Home ✨

Today our senior team took part in Basic Life Support, First Aid and AED training led by our Qualified Trainer & Operations Manager, Kyle.

The staff fully enjoyed the session and came away feeling more confident and prepared should they ever need to use these vital skills.

We’re delighted to now have 6 newly qualified First Aiders in the home – adding even more reassurance that our residents are always in safe hands. 💙

Why don’t chickens ever tell secrets?
Because they might crack under the pressure 🐔😂

Our chickens are proving to be a very popular addition here at Bush House!
And we've just found our second egg! They must be some happy, happy hens! 🥚
The best part about the chickens? Watching Kyle wrangling them in at night for bed, our residents are loving the daily entertainment! 😄

Tomorrow we are naming them! We're asking all our residents to give us some ideas and will be pulling the names out of a hat! If anyone has any suggestions, please comment below!😁
