Happy Mothers' Day to all you wonderful Mamas, Mums, and Carers out there.
Parenthood comes with its challenges, and parenting a child with extra needs is even tougher.

The ALN&D Mums we meet are strong, resilient, and brave, barely sit down, struggle to finish a conversation, rarely grab a moment to themselves, but are devoted to their children, understand their needs (even when it's difficult to meet them), and find joy in the inchstones and the little wins.

We take so much pleasure in witnessing fellow Mums of children with different needs stand back and relax for a minute, smile while they watch their children play or engage, or share a story about their child with other Mums who understand.

You're all amazing 👏 ❤️

It's week which is amazing because it's so important, and one of our key goals at KeyCreate!
We don't only provide educational workshops, play opportunities, and lots of fun silliness!
We're also very well qualified and experienced in supporting the development and mental health of children of all abilities, and regularly work with councils, hospitals, schools, and other organisations to do just that. We can even support you in your own homes so reach out if you ever need us. We're just a message away.

We had a fantastic, and very well attended, healthy living themed sensory session a couple of weeks ago. It's already almost time for the next one (tomorrow) which will have a Winter theme.
It's fully booked but if you'd like to be on the waiting list drop us a message.

Hope 2026 is treating you all well.

Here is the booking link for our remaining Winter sensory sessions in partnership with Natur Hud Community offering sensory exploration, art and craft, our musical storytelling workshop, with bushcraft and outdoor learning from Natur Hud. We have two on Saturday afternoons, including this coming Saturday. One is on a Sunday and one on Friday of February half term, both late morning. We are trying out different times to see what works best for our families. Feedback invited.

Sessions are for all children and young people with disabilities, neurodivergence, ALN, life limiting conditions, PMLD, and mental health conditions.

Wellies, waterproofs and warm clothes recommended for outdoor activities. The hall will be warm, dry and welcoming so don't let the weather put you off. Booking is essential to keep numbers safe.

Happy Faces for a Happy New Year!

That's a wrap for 2025!

We have continued to deliver hundreds of workshops over the past year, locally, online, all over Wales, in Bristol, Birmingham, and beyond. We've worked with children in Schools and Nurseries, Hospices and Hospitals, adults in Colleges and Day Centres, and worked with so many brilliant Councils, Charities, and Organisations. We've delivered One to One sessions, Continuous Professional Development, Training, Team Building sessions, and a University funded family support programme, and run social and sensory play sessions, with much more to come!

We've never been so busy and we couldn't do any of it without your support and encouragement. Thank you so much for helping us to spread joy, educate and help, support, connect, and create.

May this year bring you peace, healing, and positivity.
The New Year's Resolutions that will help the most in this challenging world are to be inclusive, be understanding, and be kind and forgiving, most of all to yourselves! You're amazing! 😁🎊🥳

Festive Blessings to our wonderful families and supporters.
Christmas is a difficult and challenging time for lots of us and rarely like the Hallmark movies we're pressured to live up to.
Remember Christmas looks different for everyone and it doesn't matter if everyone's in separate rooms, all the food is beige, or the Christmas tree has been knocked over twelve times since 5am! Love doesn't come in a parcel, and you show it all year round!

So much merriment and joy in these happy tinselly faces! We had a lovely time at our Christmas Party on Saturday. Thank you to everyone who came along and joined in the fun. We've had some lovely feedback, which is always so appreciated 😁

We couldn't have done this one without our volunteers so big up to Hannah K Turner and Stevie Beddoe for volunteering your help and time, and Rhiannon Birch for keeping everyone fuelled with hot chocolate and mince pies, and doing all the washing up. And to those parents who stayed back to help clear up. We appreciate you all so much.

Keep your eyes peeled for dates and booking links for the rest of our Winter sessions on Sundays in January and February. We'll be joined by Natur Hud Community for more bushcraft fun to complement our usual sensory and storytelling - all suitable for children and young people with ALN, disabilities, complex needs, PMLD, life limiting conditions, and mental health issues

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our joint KeyCreate and Natur Hud Community session. We had lots of sensory fun indoors and out. Looking forward to more after Christmas.

If you'd like to join us for our Christmas Party on Saturday 20th December 2-5pm we only have six spaces left. We'll have lots of sensory festive fun and exploration, arts and crafts, a Christmas music and story workshop with Dave, and some balloon and disco fun from the hilarious and multi-talented Christerical, along with festive refreshments and friendly faces.
