As seen on STV News last night, 100-year-old WWII veteran Dennis Arnold celebrated his milestone birthday in spectacular style, by taking to the skies! ✈️🎉

With support from Adventure Aviation at Balado Airfield, Dennis enjoyed a special flight over his former home in Alyth and his current home at BCG Coupar Angus, where residents waved him by.

A former Cessna pilot and Royal Army Medical Corps veteran, Dennis continues to inspire, from starring in the Witnesses to History documentary to walking 16 miles last summer to raise funds for a new sensory room to benefit his friends.

Dennis says he feels “truly blessed” to relive his flying days. What a way to celebrate a century! 🙌

Our Willowbank care home in Carnoustie marked a heartfelt and historic moment yesterday as the team bid a fond farewell to long‑serving Home Manager, Jan Robertson, retiring after an extraordinary career spanning more than three decades in care. Our longest serving home manager!

To celebrate her retirement and honour the impact she has had on so many colleagues, residents and families throughout the years, Jan’s team organised a special gathering, including thoughtful gifts and some of her favourite tasty cream cakes from the local bakery.

And as a huge Formula One enthusiast, the team brought along favourite, Lewis Hamilton, to make her day!

We’re proud to showcase how true partnership working is transforming outcomes for our residents.

At our Brookfield care home in Carnoustie, our team has been working with the Angus Health & Social Care Partnership (HSCP) to introduce innovative, evidence‑based approaches to falls prevention, resulting in a 57% reduction in falls per quarter.

From specialist NHS Education for Scotland training to assessments and wellbeing partnerships with Angusalive, Brookfield’s approach is a powerful example of what happens when sectors come together with one shared goal: better outcomes for the people we support.
