My ME has been getting quite aggressive the last six months or so. So if anyone would like to join me in posting context, or information on local groups etc, please let me know. It would be great to have help to try and get the page going, to be a good local tool.

This is horrifying, and clearly due to cost cutting. Nasty barstewards. But, forcing a person with full mental capacity and a care plan, against their will, is illegal, as her lawyer states.
A 33-year-old disabled woman, who was living in an adapted bungalow in Billingshurst, says she feels "betrayed, worthless and frightened" after being moved to a nursing home against her will.

More here:

Paying for your shopping shouldn’t be complicated.

And yet for wheelchair users, like Toyin, self-checkouts can be far from simple to use.

When the payment devices don’t lower, this means you must be able to reach a certain height to pay. It’s inaccessible. And creates yet another barrier for some disabled people.

We all need to work together to break down these barriers.
