Join us on Friday 17th November 2025 at The Tudors Care Home as we come together to support BBC Children in Need ! From morning until afternoon, staff and visitors are invited to get involved by dressing up or wearing yellow to help raise awareness for this wonderful cause. ☺️

🌿 Exciting Garden Renovation Underway! 🌿

For the past two years, we’ve been discussing with residents and our head office the idea of renovating our garden. We are thrilled to announce that we have now received the green light for the renovation and work has already begun!

This is an ongoing project, set to be completed in the coming weeks. We’re sharing some photos of the progress so far, and can’t wait for everyone to enjoy the finished garden. Watch this space for updates! 🌸✨

🎃 Our Week Celebrating Halloween 🎃

We had a fantastic week filled with Halloween fun! Residents enjoyed pumpkin carving, made and tasted delicious pumpkin soup, played pumpkin-themed games, and got creative with Halloween crafts.

Lots of laughter and enjoyment was had by all! 👻✨

From celebrating Diwali and Halloween to showing our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month and honouring the amazing chefs in our homes - it’s been a month full of joy, happiness, and fulfilment. 🎃 ✨ 💗

We had a fantastic time on our “Food Cruise” adventure in Turkey! Residents enjoyed freshly baked Turkish bread, a variety of flavourful hummus, and finished with sweet Turkish Delight (or Lokum, as the locals call it). 🍞🍯🍬

We also got creative making Turkish flags and had lots of fun testing our knowledge with a Turkey-themed quiz! 🎉🧠

A wonderful day filled with flavour, fun, and cultural discovery! 🌍❤️

Last week was so much fun as we celebrated the Festival of Lights! We created a beautiful display, crafted some lovely Diwali decorations, and even played a super fun picture bingo game themed around Diwali. It was wonderful learning more about this special festival together! 🪔💖

We had such fun exploring our Autumn-themed Memory and Sensory Box this week! 🍁✨
It sparked lovely conversations, from conker competitions at school to the beautiful colours and scents of Autumn.
Using our noses, we guessed the comforting aromas of cinnamon and cocoa, which brought back wonderful memories of baking in the kitchen when we were younger. 🧡
