It's Feel Good Friday - and a massive thank you to the students and staff at Aurora Fairway School in St Ives for bring the festive cheer to Holly Ward at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. The school's Student Council generously chose to support the Ward and sprinkle some seasonal magic ๐Ÿ’ซWith the support staff at the school, who decided to cancel plans for a Secret Santa and put their money towards buying gifts instead, and donations from parents, the student council went about selecting the presents from Holly Wardโ€™s wishlist on Amazon. We are certain they have chosen very wisely - ๐ŸŽ Thank you

Over 500 colleagues and their families, from the North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust attended our Hospitals' Charity Carol Service on Sunday in the stunning surrounds of Peterborough Cathedral.

We were delighted to be joined by the Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire, Dr Neil Modah DL and his family. We are hugely grateful to Peterborough's own Nicole Lawrence and the fantastic The Collaboration Choir for their beautiful rendition of O Holy Night.

Our guests also heard about our Christmas Giving Tree Appeal, with many bringing gifts, which will be delivered to children and young people in need in the communities around our hospitals.

We are holding a Carol Service in Huntingdon next week, and look forward to welcoming our colleagues there!

We were thrilled to welcome a group of children from the nearby Rise & Shine Day Nursery to Peterborough City Hospital, who were keen to find out about The Christmas Giving Tree appeal ๐ŸŽ„
As well as delivering their own toys, books and games to support less advantaged children this Christmas, the teeny helpers also chose a selection of tags ๐Ÿท๏ธ from the tree.
The group, accompanied by staff and parents, found out how the appeal works from one of the Giving Tree organisers, Sharron Carey.
And in an extra special treat ... the children had the opportunity to meet ED nurses Grace and Joshua, as part of the nursery's 'People Who Help Me' topic ๐Ÿฅ

A huge seasonal โ€˜thank youโ€™ to the kind-hearted children at St Augustine's Junior School in Peterborough who collected more than 100 toys and games ๐Ÿงธ to donate to the Amazon Ward at Peterborough City Hospital.

The collection was organised by the School Council, who encouraged the whole school community to contribute Christmas gifts for children spending the festive season in hospital.

The donations were collected by Polly the Paramedic, who visited the school to thank the pupils for their generosity. This is Pollyโ€™s third year of collecting, something she and her son started three years ago.

Thank you so much to all the children, parents and staff ๐ŸŽ„
