We are delighted to have been able to fund these incredible underwater themed 🐬🐢 🐠 murals (by Grosvenor Wall Art) in our Outpatient's Clinic D at &RutlandNHS
We think you will agree it all looks absolutely stunning and provides a very calming environment for our younger patients. The art project formed part of a £16,000 donation from the Hospitals' Charity, with other artwork produced for the physio gym 🌳and future art projects planned for around the hospital.

We'd like to take a moment to celebrate fabulous fundraiser Lesley Kalina who was a finalist in the Pride of Britain Awards last night! Her tireless drive to brighten the lives of our patients on the Haematology/Oncology ward at Peterborough City Hospital NHS is truly inspirational and we are proud to work along side her! Thank you Lesley - we hope you had a fabulous night 🤩

We are proud to have supported our incredible Palliative Care team with the cost of translation of their 'Explaining Palliative Care' leaflet into the the most common local languages, ensuring local people can access this important information, be better informed and be empowered.

We are lucky to have some incredible fundraisers who work hard to raise funds for our hospitals. The fab-u-lous Lesley Kalina is the founder of M.A.D, which is a charity that raises funds for cancer patients at the Peterborough City Hospital NHS Oncology Department, purchasing items which are 'over and above' those which are supplied by the NHS.

So far Lesley's fundraising has purchased fridges, chairs for relatives to stay over with family, drug stands and trollies, syringe drivers, care packages for patients and staff, sofas for the relatives room. microwave, employee of the month certificates and gifts, weighing chair and radios!!!

Lesley raises these funds by selling hand made gifts - so please do take a look at her site and if you're looking for a special gift for a loved one, make M.A.D your first port of call!

A newly-opened garden at a city hospital is offering much-needed respite for critical care staff.

The calming space, at Peterborough City Hospital, was first proposed during the pandemic by sister Ros Rippon, who recognised the need for an outdoor area where staff could relax from the pressures of frontline care.

It was funded by the Friends of Peterborough Hospital and was delivered by the North West Anglia Hospitals' Charity after construction work began earlier this year.

Staff have described it as "peaceful" and "beautiful".

Staff welcome the space, designed to give respite from frontline care, describing it as "beautiful".
