Today we’re celebrating Jenny, a Shining Star in our community at Beckett’s Close. As well as visiting people in hospital and cooking for others, Jenny is always very busy organising craft sessions and bus trips for her neighbours. Jenny says: “I get a lot of satisfaction from knowing that people are happy with what I do and very grateful that someone is helping them.”

Meet Loxley’s unofficial taxi driver, Fred. Fred is one of our Shining Stars who is always willing to help his neighbours whenever they need to get around. Whether for hospital appointments or a trip to the shops, Fred is everyone’s first port of call for excellent driving services!

Dave is a true Shining Star who enjoys bringing some festivity to Finchley Green. His Christmas dinner helps bring all the residents together to share stories and laughter around the dining table.

The clicking of knitting needles can be heard right across Orton Brimbles as our fantastically talented Knit and Natter group at Lapwing Apartments prepare for Easter. They have been making Easter chicks for sale in aid of the residents' social fund and blankets to share with their fellow residents. We're sure you will agree, they're a talented bunch!
