2 LOWER BODY MACHINES YOU CAN’T MESS UP ON… in the gym, if you’re a beginner! If you’re worried about looking silly in the gym, or getting something wrong here are two machines you can use that are full proof 💪🏼

1. Leg Extension • If you want to work on creating shape in your gorgeous things, do not miss the extension. Did you know it’s the only machine that will truly isolate your quadriceps? (the 4 large muscles in the tops of your legs)

Cues to using the machine:
• Line your knees up with the pivot on the machine
• Pull yourself into the seat using the handles on either side of the seat
• Count for 2 as you lift the weight with your shins, and count for 3 when lowering it.
• Squeeze your quads at the top of the movement
• Avoid snapping your knees straight at the top and swinging the weight up.

2. Seated Leg Press • Another great machine to use to target the lower body. Foot placement is key here. The lower the feet on the plate, we hit the quads more. If we keep the feet higher we start hitting those glutes.

Cues to using the machine:
• Feet in your desired stance on the plate
• Push through the whole of the foot
• Make sure your knees track over the toes
• Control that weight girl as you bring it closer to you
• Avoid locking the knees as at the top of the movement

And there you go, 2 machines anyone no matter their experience can use 💁🏼‍♀️

✋🏼Stop doing random YouTube workouts! They won’t get you to where you want to be.

You need a solid plan to follow each week girls to see real change and that’s where we come in. Here’s why structured training works 👇🏼

🤎Eliminates decision fatigue. Have you ever been stood in the gym without a plan and thought “what should I do next?”🤦🏼‍♀️ yeah we don’t want to do this.

🤎Doing the same movements at the gym or at home each week will mean you actually get better at them. Remember practice is key, so getting stronger at a movement takes lots of time and consistency.

🤎Your sessions will start the same, usually with a big compound movement like the lunges and overhead presses in the clips above. These may be your priority lifts, so we put them first to avoid any unnecessary fatigue before doing them.

🤎Tracking your progress is much easier! Log your workouts girls, sets and reps and how much weight you’re pushing and pulling. Write it all down and try to beat it next time you do that session.

🤎You will feel like you’re actually getting somewhere. And then there is no stopping you. Each week getting bigger lifts, feeling and looking stronger honestly girls there is nothing better! 💪🏼

She wanted to ensure she had solid eating habits before returning to work where there would be tempting treats weekly 🍰

Her meal plan was set around her daughter Rosie’s needs. Rosie developed an intolerance to her milk, so this was quickly rectified in Jade’s nutrition plan to ensure breastfeeding could continue.
